Description

The Withered was a fast enemy that appeared in Containment as part of the Hexscape Event. It had high health, fast speed and 50% defense. It also had Freeze Immunity and Stun Immunity.

Appearance

The Withered was an entity with most of its dark grey skeleton exposed. It had dark grey claws on its hands and feet, torso with fur around its neck and a grey skull with neon orange eyes and antlers. It also had two additional arms on its back. When it was killed, it fell over causing its head to fall off.

Strategy

• High DPS towers, like the Engineer, Ranger or Accelerator, can be quite effective against this.
• While it is quite fast, it has multiple immunities that make it harder to slow down. More specifically, it is immune to being knocked back, frozen, chilled and is only slowed down by stuns.
• Defense dropping towers like the Pyromancer or DJ Booth can be used to drop its defense, allowing your towers to deal more damage to it.
  • Freeze defense dropping towers cannot drop its defense, as it has the Freeze Immunity.
