Description[]

The Witch was an enemy that appeared in the second act of the Lunar Overture Event. It had a high amount of health and a below average speed. If there were no enemies in its range, it would speed up significantly until it there was an enemy in its range. The Witch was a flying enemy, so only certain towers would be able to target it.

It had one ability, where it would throw a potion on enemies, making them 35% bigger and increasing their health anywhere between 30% and 100% for 6 seconds, but also making them 20% slower. The health boost could cause issues in earlier waves, especially when affecting groups of enemies. Bosses and the Witch itself were not affected by this.

Appearance[]

The Witch was a humanoid that had a green skin tone and wore a ragged black robe with long sleeves. It had a long nose and a dark purple witch hat with a purple band and yellow buckle. It rode on a levitating light brown broomstick with a curved end that had gold rings on it, leaving a trail of purple smoke behind it.

The Witch also had a translucent white potion bottle on its waist, with a green fluid inside, which it would use for its Strength Potion ability. Due to a bug, the potion model would lose the green fluid after the Witch used the ability for the first time, making the potion bottle appear empty. The fluid disappearing had no effect on gameplay.

Strategy[]

  • The Witch is a flying enemy, reducing the number of towers you can use in the event.
    • A few Ace Pilots are quite effective against the Witch early on.
    • Multiple Golden Soldiers are also effective.
    • The Mortar's splash damage allows it to damage both the Witch and enemies around it, making it pretty good against it.
  • Rangers can do fairly well as it has a large range and high damage.
    • The Pursuit is also a viable option as it has high damage and low firerate.
  • The Witch should be taken down quickly, as it can increase the health of enemies that are hit by its ability for a short period of time.
    • This does not affect bosses.
