Description

v1.4.0 is the forty-third update to be released on Tower Defense Simulator, on the 30th of September 2022. This update is notable for adding the Badlands II to the game.

This update was also given the name Wanted Dead Update.

This version encompassed six updates, the main v1.4.0 update (released 30 September 2022) and five minor updates, the v1.4.0a (released 1 October 2022), v1.4.0b (released 4 October 2022), v1.4.0c (released 9 October 2022), v1.4.0d (released 13 October 2022) and v1.4.0e (released 13 October 2022).

Changes & Bugfixes

  • Cowboy and Golden Cowboy's all skin Level 0-5 appearance changed.
  • Cowboy reworked.
    • Cowboy can no longer be obtained from Badlands as it was removed. Now it can only be obtained from Badlands II.
    • No longer gives a random amount of cash, now gives a set amount of cash.
    • Amount of cash generated no longer increases with each wave, now increases with Levels.
    • Now shows the amount of shots needed for it to generate cash.
    • Now spins its guns when generating cash, which prevents it from attacking.
    • Statistical changes:
      • Base
        • Cost decreased from Cash (Gameplay Currency)$650 to Cash (Gameplay Currency)$550.
        • Damage decreased from 3 to 2.
        • Firerate decreased from 1.508 to 1.008.
        • Cash Shot of 6 added.
        • Spin Time of 1.7 added.
        • Generates Cash (Gameplay Currency)$25 instead of a random amount which increases with each wave.

  • Reworked Seasons menu.
  • Reworked gaining currency for Seasons.
    • Now instead of it working similarly to other currencies like Coin Coins or Experience EXP, it is an item dropped by enemies when killed.
  • Quick now has 6 health instead of 4 in Badlands II.
  • Necromancer (Modern Enemy) now has 500 health instead of 800 in Badlands II.
  • Skeleton now has 50 health instead of 60 health in Badlands II.
  • Warden now has 10,000 health instead of 40,000 in Badlands II.
  • Enemies Beta Necromancer Boss now has 14,000 health instead of 60,000 in Badlands II.
  • Cursed Skeleton now has 500 health instead of 2,500 in Badlands II.
  • HP Locked modifier's description changed.
  • HP Locked modifier changed, now can set the base health to other amounts than just 100.
  • Mutation modifier nerfed, now increases the health of enemies each wave by 5% of the enemy's normal health, instead of 10% of the enemy's normal health.
  • Special elevators now lower down in 10 seconds instead of 20 seconds.
  • Fixed Ruby Escort appearing in Special elevators.
In v1.4.0a:
  • Gunslinger buffed.
    • Health increased from 500,000 to 600,000.
    • Speed slightly increased.
  • Fixed Gift Box menu not working.
  • Fixed being unable to claim badge rewards.
  • Fixed Matchmaking not working.
In v1.4.0b:
  • Golden Cowboy nerfed.
    • Level 3 upgrade cost increased from Cash (Gameplay Currency)$1,750 to Cash (Gameplay Currency)$2,150.
  • Survival Matchmaking changed.
    • Only four maps can be played through matchmaking, with the maps changing every 24 hours.
    • Map icons are shown above the Minigunner.
In v1.4.0c:
  • Increased Razors required in the Philips x TDS Season for each rank.
    • Rank 1 amount of Razors required increased from 100 to 150.
    • Rank 2 amount of Razors required increased from 275 to 300.
    • Rank 3 amount of Razors required increased from 350 to 500.
    • Rank 4 amount of Razors required increased from 500 to 800.
  • Made teleporting to matches faster and more reliable.
  • Fixed match rejoining when using the matchmaking feature.
In v1.4.0d:
  • Philips x TDS Season is now active.
  • Random naturally spawned enemies now spawn with facial hair, these enemies also drop Razors upon death.
In v1.4.0e:
  • Wording of the timer for Philips x TDS Season changed to "Part 2" instead of "Active".
  • Rank 5 purchase for Robux 1 Robux fixed.
  • There is now a Shavetopia portal in the lobby.
