Description

The Tommy Goon 2, also referred to as Upgraded Tommy Crook, is a unit that can be spawned from the Crook Boss at Level 4, replacing the Tommy Goon 1. On the wiki, it is referred to as Tommy Goon 2 and not Tommy Goon to differentiate it from the Tommy Goon 1, as they share the same display name in-game. Like most other units, it starts from one of the entrances of the map and moves towards the exit.

Whenever there is an enemy in its range, it will stop moving, kneel down and start attacking it and all other detectable enemies in its range. It will continue walking if there are no enemies in its range for a few seconds. The Tommy Goon 2 can detect hidden enemies, though it cannot detect flying enemies. It has a 50 second spawnrate.

There is a limit of 4 Tommy Goon 2s and Tommy Goon 1s per Crook Boss.

Appearance

The Tommy Goon 2 has tan skin. It wears a white shirt, grey vest with golden buttons, dark grey jacket, dark blue tie, a black fedora with a dark blue stripe, brown pants and black shoes. The Tommy Goon 2 wields an M1928 Thompson submachine gun to attack enemies.

Strategy

• The Tommy Goon 2 can be quite useful against enemies that appear in later parts of the game, as it has decent DPS, spawns quickly and has hidden detection, thought it should not be solely relied on.
• The Tommy Goon 2 can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss or Hazard.
  • Its gun damage is still reduced by defense.
• On maps with multiple paths, only one Tommy Goon 2 spawns per Crook Boss, it will go down a random path.
• The Tommy Goon 2 is unaffected by buffs and debuffs.
• The Tommy Goon 2 will struggle against enemies with abilities that deal damage to units because of its low health.
  • For example, the Warden will quickly kill the Tommy Goon 2 if its caught in its laser.
