Description

The Tommy Goon 1, also referred to as Tommy Crook, is a unit that can be spawned from the Crook Boss at Level 3. On the wiki it is referred to as Tommy Goon 1 to differentiate it from the Tommy Goon 2, as they share an identical display name in-game. Like most other units, it starts from one of the entrances of the map and moves towards the exit.

Whenever there is an enemy in its range, it will stop moving to attack it and all other detectable enemies in its range. It will continue walking if there are no enemies in its range for a few seconds. The Tommy Goon 1 can detect hidden enemies, though it cannot detect flying enemies. It has a 50 second spawnrate.

The Tommy Goon 1 is replaced by the Tommy Goon 2 when the Crook Boss is upgraded to Level 4.

There is a limit of 4 Tommy Goon 1s and Tommy Goon 2s per Crook Boss.

Appearance

The Tommy Goon 1 has tan skin. It wears a white shirt red tie, brown pants and gloves, black shoes, maroon tie, black belt with a golden buckle, black overalls and a brown dapper hat. The Tommy Goon 1 wields a M1A1 Thompson submachine gun to attack enemies.

Strategy

• The Tommy Goon 1 can be quite useful against enemies that appear in the mid-game, as it has decent DPS, spawns quickly and has hidden detection, thought it should not be solely relied on.
• The Tommy Goon 1 can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss or Hazard.
  • Its gun damage is still reduced by defense.
• On maps with multiple paths, only one Tommy Goon 1 spawns per Crook Boss, it will go down a random path.
• The Tommy Goon 1 is unaffected by buffs and debuffs.
• The Tommy Goon 1 will struggle against enemies with abilities that deal damage to units because of its low health.
  • For example, the Warden will quickly kill the Tommy Goon 1 if its caught in its laser.
