Swordmaster has been removed from the game as of the 13th of October 2019 as it was part of the SFOTH Event.
This page has been preserved for historical purposes.
Description
The Swordmaster was the first, and only, boss in The Heights. It walked very slowly, but had lots of health; more than the Molten Boss before the MEGA Update, with three abilities. Upon its death, if the mode was Normal+, all players were rewarded with the Gladiator.
The first attack involved the Swordmaster swinging its sword in a full rotation, stunning all towers hit by the sword. The next attack was quite similar, smashing its sword into the ground stunning all ground towers within a radius. Its third and final attack involved the Swordmaster pointing its sword forwards and spawning random enemies, in a random amount, at the start of the map. These random enemies could be the Fallen Hero, the Slow Boss, the Necromancer, the Stone Viking, the Brute or the Slow.
Appearance
The Swordmaster wore a red cloak and pants. Painted on its cloak appeared to be a necklace. It had green skin, light red legs and a dark red shirt. It had several pouches on its belt and wore a yellow crown. It wielded a Darkheart sword by its right side. It had red glowing eyes and had a drooling zombie face.
Strategy
- You can use the Freezer's Ice Drop ability to stop the Swordmaster. This gives you much more time to defeat the boss.
- You can sell and re-buy the Freezer quickly to use the ability again. Do be aware that it is quite expensive.
- Pyromancers can burn the Swordmaster, slowing it down.
- Support towers, such as the John and Commander, are a given due to your tight budget.
- This means that you should spam cheap high DPS towers, such as the Minigunner, around these support towers.
- The Outlaw can also be effective, though do be aware of its high cost.
- Relocate your towers whenever the Swordmaster is out of range so that you can maximize damage.
- However, it may be ideal to keep some towers near the start of the map to deal with the enemies that the Swordmaster spawns.

Trivia
- The Fallen Swordmaster is the resurrected version of the Swordmaster, as stated by a tweet.
- The crown that the Swordmaster wore was the Golden Crown hat from the Roblox catalog.
- The Swordmaster was the first major boss to be added to the game, predating even the Molten Boss.
- The Swordmaster's appearance was based on an outfit that Shedletsky/Telamon used to wear.
- Shedletsky is the creator of Sword Fights on the Heights IV, which The Heights was based on.
- Upon release, the Swordmaster used to damage the base health for every tower that it stunned, with any of its abilities. This could lead to you losing if the base health reached 0.
- Therefore, this was the first enemy that was able to damage the base with an ability, but it was removed shortly after its addition.
