Description

The Swamper was a slow and tanky enemy that was exclusive to the Lunar Overture Event. It had higher health than every enemy that appeared before it but was slower than every one of them. It had defense, reducing the amount of damage towers deal to it. Additionally, it was immune to being frozen by freezing towers and it could only be slowed down by the Warden and Electroshocker because of its immunities.

Appearance

The Swamper was a large, dark, green-colored entity with multiple tentacles on its back. It had dark green skin, and it wore a dark green shirt and pants. It had multiple thorns coming out of its body and two yellow glowing eyes on its torso.

Strategy

• Multiple cheaper towers with decent DPS, such as the Golden Scout, Militant or Golden Soldier can be a good way to eliminate this enemy.
  • Alternatively, efficient, high DPS towers like the Minigunner can also be used, though due to their cost they may be a bit hard to afford when it first spawns.
  • Accelerator also works wonders against this enemy, easily being able to make short work of it due to its high DPS.
• Because of its immunities, freezing towers like the Freezer or Sledger cannot freeze it.
  • Additionally, the Warden and Electroshocker can only slow it down instead of fully stopping it.
    • Though this is mostly not necessary if you have enough DPS towers.
• The Pyromancer and Golden Pyromancer can be used to decrease its defense, while also dealing damage to weaker enemies that spawn alongside it.

Trivia

• The Swamper is based on the Swamp Monster boss from the Solar Eclipse Event, which in turn is based on the Swamp Thing from the Halloween 2019 Event.
