Swamp Monster dialogue on Wave 12 (Foggy Forest)

Description

The Swamp Monster was the final boss of the second night in the Solar Eclipse Event. It had a large amount of health for its appearance and a very slow speed. When using its Trident Throw ability, it would stop moving and threw four tridents at towers, stunning them. It was immune to being frozen and slowed down by the Toxic Gunner. Additionally, the Electroshocker could only slow it down instead of stunning it.

Appearance

The Swamp Monster had dark green and green skin. It was faceless but had two large yellow eyes on its torso and one on its left arm, and two large yellow eyes on its back and the back of its left arm. It had four dark green tentacles, all of which held a blue glowing trident, which it used to stun towers.

Strategy

  • Use high DPS towers, such as the Swarmer, Minigunner or Accelerator to defeat this.
    • While it may look like the Accelerator does not attack the Swamp Monster, it is only a visual bug. The Accelerator does deal damage to it.
  • The Commander is recommended to boost the firerate of the towers.
  • The Trident Throw ability will make the Swamp Monster stop moving for a long period of time, you can use this to your advantage to deal as much damage as possible.
    • While the Trident Throw ability cannot directly target units, it can still damage them.
  • Because of its immunities, it can only be slowed down by the Electroshocker.
    • However, because of its energy immunity, it could only be slowed down instead of completely stopped. Its large size also reduced the Electroshocker's shock time.
