Description

Stun Immunity (referred to as "No Stun" on its tag) is an immunity that prevents the enemy from being stunned and knocked back. For towers, it fully or partially prevents them from being stunned and targeted by enemies.

Mechanics

Stun Immunity makes it so that any enemy with it cannot be stunned by stunning towers, which includes the Trapper, Electroshocker and Warden. They will be instead slowed down by 25% for the stun duration. The Stun Immunity also grants immunity to being knocked back by the Brawler, Riot Guard and DJ Booth.

All Boss enemies have this immunity, as part of being a Boss enemy. The only difference between the two is that the slowdown effect is weaker on Boss enemies.

Towers

Stun Immunity makes towers unaffected by stuns from enemies and, in multiple cases, also prevents them from being targeted from such attacks. The immunity to being attacked also applies to some enemy attacks which normally would actually affect them. For example, the Unstable Ice from the Operation I.C.E Event will not jump at any tower with Stun Immunity visible in their upgrade menu, even though it can actually freeze them. Some towers, such as cliff units, also have freeze immunity, though it is not displayed in their upgrade menu and it is far less effective at preventing them from being targeted by enemy abilities.

Trivia

  • When first added, Stun Immunity was broken and did not do anything, when it was meant to functionally be the same as the Energy Immunity.
    • As both of these immunities would do the same thing, some enemies, such as the Enemies Beta Necromancer King would have the same immunity applied twice.
