"These Spy Ducks are sneaky. Make sure our units can see them!"
Dispatcher on Wave 4 (Bathroom Approach)

Description

The Spy Ducky is a Hidden enemy that appears in Bathroom Approach as part of the Ducky Revenge Event. It has decent health and an above average speed.

Logbook Description

"Spy Ducky is a ghost, a mystery. He changes disguises faster than one could quack. Infiltrating the highest level of government secrets and being internationally wanted for espionage, Spy Ducky could be a villain in his own right. He could be anywhere, anything, anyone. Spy Ducky could even[sic] you."

Appearance

The Spy Ducky is a regular yellow duck with black eyes, orange beak and orange flippers. It wears a brown hat and a mask. As it is a Hidden enemy, its body is entirely translucent. It has three animations that it can randomly have, where all three also have differently shaped eyes. The first animation has it have a happy expression, the second has it have a serious expression while the third one has its eyes partially closed, likely because it is scared.

Strategy

  • Towers with hidden detection that are effective early on are pretty useful against the Spy Ducky. Such towers include the Ace Pilot, Crook Boss, Militant and Pyromancer.
    • The Golden Crook Boss and Golden Pyromancer are more effective against it, although not required.
    • The Ace Pilot can also be used to give towers which normally do not have hidden detection, like the Mortar or Pursuit, hidden detection, making the Spy Ducky far easier to deal with.
  • Like all Hidden enemies, towers with splash damage or multi-targeting, such as the Mortar and Electroshocker can damage them without hidden detection. These should not be entirely relied on, and should be backed up by the above towers.
  • In cases where you lack appropriate hidden detection defenses, Bunny Sentries can be used to kill the Spy Ducks as they have hidden detection.
