Spring Fever is a day time map, which takes place in a canyon during the spring. Despite this, there is nothing to suggest that this is overly spring-themed due to the altitude of the map.

Spring Fever has the Enemies Beta modifier, which changes the appearance of some enemies, replaces some enemies with other enemies and changes stats of some enemies.

Design & Path[]

Current version of Spring Fever takes place in a canyon. In the canyon, there are four main areas above a grey fog, connected by stone bridges. There, a few trees, rocks and tree stumps can be found. There is also a stone house with a red roof and two ceilings. Wooden fences can also be seen near the house, on the edges of the terrain.
The stone path starts and ends at a cave. The path takes multiple turns and goes across multiple bridges.

First version of Spring Fever had four islands that were seen above the low cloud, with one island not being reached to by the path. Several trees, colored green and light brown, could be seen planted across the map. There appeared to be signs of human habitation; several huts could be seen across the map as well as wooden steps onto one of the islands.
The black pebble path began and ended at two caves. It took quite a long straight, onto a bridge. The bridge then turned twice onto the second island where the majority of the turns on this map were. The path then went onto a second bridge and underneath a sign before reaching the end.

Strategy[]

  • There is very little ground space on this map. Try to be conservative with ground space.
    • There is no ground space which is away from the path. Because of this, towers like the Farm or Military Base should be placed in spots where you do not plan to place your towers.
      • Additionally, the Rocketeer may not be very useful here because of this, as it has a large deadzone range.
  • While there are multiple cliffs on this map, they are scattered across the map and can only have a small amount of towers placed on them, making cliff towers less viable here.
    • However, this map is quite small. As cliff towers have long range, they can easily cover most of the map.
  • Ground space in this map is quite limited, making the Pursuit more viable in this map.

Trivia[]

  • With the addition of this map, only one season (summer) is not represented in a map, not including Four Seasons.
  • This was the only non-versus map not to have a map badge before the Overhaul Update.
    • All non-event maps no longer reward badges when you triumph them after the Overhaul Update.
  • When this map was remade on the 31st of March 2023, the exit was bugged to be at the last corner of the map instead of the cave, shortening the map. This was fixed soon after.
