Description

The Snowy was an enemy that appeared exclusively in Outpost 32, and was the first enemy to spawn, as part of the Frost Invasion Event. Currently, it can be spawned again in Sandbox mode, though it uses the Operation I.C.E Event Snowy statistics. It had average speed, but low health.

Upon its death, the Frost Mystery had a chance to spawn the Snowy.

Appearance

The Snowy has light blue head and arms, along with a light grey torso and legs which are made presumably made out of powdered snow. It has no facial features.

Event Strategy

Strategy listed here was made for the Frost Invasion Event.

  • Snowies come in hordes at the start of the game and should be dealt with accordingly, generally with towers that can damage multiple enemies at once.
    • The Pyromancer is the best way to combat the Snowy. It is a multi-hit tower, deals double fire damage to the Snowy (as with all enemies in the Frost Invasion Event) and can be placed down at the start of the game.
      • There should be at least two Level 2 Pyromancers placed down at the start of the map to deal with the first few hordes of Snowies.
    • Splash damage towers like the Mortar can do fairly well against the Snowy.
      • The Swarmer's Beehive Grenade ability is excellent at dealing with Snowies, though it is too expensive to upgrade the Swarmer early on in the game.
    • Later on in the game, Snowies are not an issue and can be dealt with using late game towers.
  • As your base health in Outpost 32 is set to 200, it is not a major issue if multiple Snowies get to the exit at the start of the match.

Trivia

  • The Snowy originally had a slightly different design before being added, where it had a shocked face, similar to one used by other event enemies, like the Undead or Reanimated.
