Description

The Snow Minion was an enemy that appeared exclusively in Outpost 32 as part of the Frost Invasion Event. Currently, it can only appear in Sandbox mode. It did not spawn naturally, instead being spawned from other enemies. The Snow Minion was a relatively quick enemy and had the same health as the Packed Ice.

The Snow Minion had a chance of being spawned from the Frost Mystery upon its death. Two Snow Minions were spawned from the Snow Golem when it died and four Snow Minions could be spawned from the Frost Necromancer per ability.

Appearance

The Snow Minion appears to resemble a smaller and weaker counterpart of the Snow Golem. The Snow Minion has white skin, while its legs and torso are light grey. Its entire body has a snow texture. Its head shape is unique as it was not round, with some part sticking out of the head. On its arms and legs were ice blocks, and on its shoulders are snow crystals. The Snow Minion has a running animation and its left arm appeared across its torso.

Strategy

  • Multiple Minigunners should be sufficient in dealing with Snow Minions.
  • It is recommended to use the DJ Booth to the extend range of towers in case Snow Minions manage to escape the defenses.
    • You can use the Commander's Call to Arms ability to boost nearby towers' firerate to defeat hordes of Snow Minions.
  • You can use towers that hit multiple enemies, like the Gladiator and Mortar, to deal with groups of Snow Minions.
    • The Pursuit can easily wipe numerous hordes of Snow Minions out.
  • The Toxic Gunner can help in slowing these enemies down as they are quite quick.
    • As they spawn in hordes, it is recommended to have multiple Toxic Gunners with different target settings to slow down as many of these as possible.
  • As with all enemies in the Frost Invasion Event, the Pyromancer deals double fire damage to the Snow Minion (though normal damage is not doubled).
