Description
Scale is a status effect which alters the health, size and speed of an enemy.
Mechanics
When an enemy receives Scale, its health, speed and size will be altered either temporarily or permanently. This can be both positive, like a speed boost or negative, like a health decrease. By default, the values were 50% more health, 50% size increase and its speed being set to 75%, though these values are rarely used.
Scale still exists in the game, though it has mostly been replaced by Nimble and Bloated attributes.
Enemy List
No enemy spawned with Scale naturally.
The following event enemies applied Scale to other enemies:
- Witch (Lunar Overture)
- Temporary 6 second buff, gave anywhere between 30% to 100% more health, made enemies 35% larger and made them slower by 20%.
- Reaper (Lunar Overture)
- Permanent upon summoning an enemy.
- Sin:
- Chance to gain 100% more health, an increase in size and a speed decrease.
- Hallow Guard
- Guaranteed to have its health reduced by anywhere between 16.7% and 0%, have its size decreased and speed increased.
- Demon
- Guaranteed to have its health reduced by 50%, have its size decreased and speed increased.
Bloated attribute used to at one point increase enemy size using Scale, with the size being set to anywhere between 15% and 25% bigger, while health and speed multipliers were set to having no change, though this is no longer the case.
