Description

The Rusted was an enemy with an average speed and more health than the Chained. Though it was not considered a boss, it had high health for its debut. This could be considered a tougher variation of the Golden as it had much higher health. However, the Rusted was not immune to splash damage.

Appearance

The Rusted was made entirely out of corroded metal. It had brown skin and a brown wristband on its left arm. Its torso and legs were black. Metal protrusions could be seen just above its waist on the bottom left side of its torso. It was about the same size as the Golden.

Strategy

• The Rusted does not spawn in large hordes, so high DPS towers, such as the Turret and the Minigunner, can easily defeat this enemy.
• Due to Rusteds spawning very unfrequently, they are not much of a threat.
• Unlike Goldens, the Rusted is not immune to explosions.
  • The Rusted is not immune to anything, unlike other enemies that spawn alongside it.
  • This means that the Rocketer can easily wipe them out.

Trivia

• A humanoid figure similar in appearance to the Rusted can be found on the Gilded Path map.
• The Hefty's current appearance fairly resembles the Rusted.
