"Got more info. This Realm has only been accessed by an offline server network that's not connected to the main realm.
This is more than likely EXO's private realm network. We are positive there's at least an undiscovered fragment in there, but we're trying to figure out what has it."

Description

The Rotting Terror was a high health enemy that spawns in The Nightmare Realm and Containment in the Hexscape Event. It had the highest health out of all enemies that appeared before it, though it was slower than most of them. It had 50% defense making it receive around 33% less damage from most sources. It also had Freeze Immunity and Stun Immunity, making it harder to slow down. When it first spawned in The Nightmare Realm, it was a Boss enemy, making it even harder to slow down. Additionally, on some waves, it could spawn as a Bloated, Nimble or Aggro enemy.

Appearance

The Rotting Terror was a large entity with brown skin. It had multiple neon red veins on its body. It did not have legs, instead having a brown spine. On its left arm, it had a rusty metal claw while on its right arm it has an exposed bone. On its head, it had neon red eyes and grey teeth. It had multiple spikes and tentacles which were the same color as its skin on its body. It wore a rusty red and grey helmet.

Strategy

  • Multiple early-game towers, like the Golden Crook Boss, Cowboy, Militant and Golden Soldier can be quite effective against this.
  • As the Rotting Terror has quite high defense, defense dropping towers like the Pyromancer, DJ Booth or Trapper can against it.
    • Because of its Freeze Immunity, freezing towers cannot be used to drop its defense. Additionally, all other forms of defense dropping are currently bugged and do not work.
  • The Rotting Terror is quite fast for its health, making stalling towers useful. However, because of its immunities, it cannot be knocked back, chilled or frozen, while stuns only slow it down.
    • Additionally, when it first spawns in The Nightmare Realm, it is as a Boss enemy, meaning that the stalling options are further limited to just stun slowdown.
    • As it is a large enemy, it will be stalled for a shorter amount of time compared to average-sized enemies.
