"Sorry, I can't let you leave my theater... I have a reputation to uphold, and you'll tell the world of my FAILURES! I can't have that... AND I WON'T."
Narrator dialogue on Wave 14 (The Great Finale)

Description

The Right Hand, alongside the Left Hand, was the final boss of the third act in the Lunar Overture Event. It had a high amount of health, much higher than any other enemy before it, but it could not enter the base like other enemies and did not take damage the same way as other enemies. As it is a boss enemy, it was immune to being slowed down by the Toxic Gunner, could not be frozen by freezing towers and could only be slowed down by the Warden and Electroshocker.

The Right Hand had four abilities. The first ability, Temper Fist, made it move towards a tower, ball up to a fist and smash it, creating a shockwave that stunned any tower. Its second ability, Finger Gun, made it fire multiple missiles from its index finger at random towers, stunning any tower caught in the explosion. Its third ability, Vanquish, made it move towards a tower, grab it, squash it and then return to its original position, which killed the tower. It can do this multiple times in a row. Its last ability, Summoning Trickery, made it dangle its fingers over a path, summoning five enemies, which could be any enemy that appeared before it.

Appearance

The Right Hand was a disembodied human hand wearing a white glove.

The Right Hand had a death animation where it would make various hand signals before shrinking into nothing and emitting confetti after it disappeared.

Strategy

  • Spotlights are the only reliable way to attack the Right Hand and Left Hand.
    • Both the Right Hand and Left Hand cannot be targeted by towers directly, but can still be damaged indirectly from explosions or stray projectiles.
    • Enemies that spawn around the map have a chance of dropping a single Battery when killed. These should be collected before Wave 14, as each Spotlight requires 10 Batteries to be used.
      • In cases of emergency, it can also be used to confuse enemies coming towards the exit, so that you do not lose from them.
    • It is recommended to stay next to the Spotlight which will have its duration end soon, so that it can be quickly activated again. After this, move to the next Spotlight which has the lowest amount of time before it deactivates.
    • The Right Hand has several abilities that allow it to quickly move around the map. Players using Spotlight should reaim them as fast as possible.
  • The Right Hand cannot kill the player by itself, but the enemies that spawn alongside it will without enough DPS, especially when combined with the Right Hand and Left Hand's abilities.
    • Multiple high DPS towers, like the Minigunner, Accelerator or Ranger are recommended to deal with them.
    • Towers like the Golden Soldier can be quite effective against them when there are multiple of them placed down.
    • The Medic is a reliable tower to cleanse stuns.
  • Do note that the Right Hand can kill your towers.
    • It is advised to have bait towers, however it is not a requirement since the only way to kill the Right Hand is by using the Spotlight.

Trivia

  • The Right Hand was most likely inspired by the Master Hand from Super Smash Bros.
    • The fact that the Right Hand has 300,000 health could also be a reference to the Master Hand having 300 health in Super Smash Bros.
  • After losing to the Left Hand and Right Hand, a laugh could be heard.
  • This along with the Left Hand are the second bosses to have the ability to kill towers, with the first being the Raider Boss.
  • The Right Hand spawned shortly after the Left Hand.
  • When summoning enemies, the enemies were called "Hand Boss Right's _____" instead of "Right Hand's _____".
