"Dear god.. it's a Drakkobloxxer[sic], I thought they were merely.. a myth!
Throw EVERYTHING you have! Every bullet, rocket, bomb, everything!
What–.. The Drakobloxxer is.. ignoring the path?!
Doesn't matter. Keep it away from the terminal!"

Description

Primordial Drakobloxxer was the final boss of Containment, the third Night of the Hexscape Event. It had high health, highest in the entire event, though it was also the slowest in its first phase. It emerged from the portal in a cutscene.

It had seven abilities, four that could be used at any time, its second phase and two abilities it could only use after entering its second phase. The first ability was Livingstone's Discovery. It made Primordial Drakobloxxer scream, which formed a large death beam at the center of the map, stunning towers for 5 seconds and dealing heavy damage to units. Its second ability was Enforced Departure. It made it form a small purple orb at a part of the map, which it later teleported to, dissolving the orb. Its third ability was Nightmare Storm. It made it scream and emit purple mist, summoning two Unknown Bosses on the path. Primordial Drakobloxxer also gained the Tank attribute briefly. Its fourth and last ability available from the first phase was Nightmare Storm, which made it emit a magenta aura around it and slam the ground. This applied a 60% firerate debuff to towers for 10 seconds.

After losing half of its health in the Hard difficulty, Primordial Drakobloxxer would enter its second phase, making it faster by 50% and making it use its abilities more frequently. This also unlocked two additional abilities for it. The first was Scorched Earth, which made it create two lasers shaped like a cross that spun wildly around the map, stunning towers for 6 seconds and dealing 300 damage to units. Its second ability unlocked in the second phase was Nightmare Tears. It made it fire out five skulls that upon exploding, had a 25% chance to summon a Bloated and Aggro Unknown Boss, which also could either be Health Regen or Nimble, and a 75% chance to summon a Bloated and Aggro Unknown.

In both Easy and Hard difficulties, while it was suggested it ignored the path, it actually had its own nodal path which was not present. This path would eventually lead the Primordial Drakobloxxer to the exit.

Appearance

Primordial Drakobloxxer was a large, red-skinned creature with multiple red spikes on its body. Its torso had a darker skin tone than its arms. It had eight arms, each with four claws. It used six of them to support itself while walking and the other two to hold and control a God Cube shard. Its head was a large mouth with no visible eyes. It walked on fours around the map.

After first using its Scorched Earth ability, its skin would become blue and its head would become purple. It would also start walking with its tongue out. It would return to its regular colors when killed.

Strategy

Easy Difficulty

  • Multiple high DPS, like the Accelerator, Engineer, Pursuit or Ranger, can easily kill the Primordial Drakobloxxer.
    • Support towers like the DJ Booth can be useful at boosting your towers.
  • Selling towers and replacing them near the Primordial Drakobloxxer is recommended due to its ability to teleport across the map.
    • High range towers like the Ranger or Mortar can be quite useful because of this, as they do not require to be moved.
    • The DJ Booth can be used to boost the range of your towers.
  • Ensure that you have enough other towers to deal with the enemies that spawn along with it.
    • Multiple Level 4 Jesters with confusion and poison bombs can greatly help hinder the advancement of the horde while also damaging them to make quick work of them.

Hard Difficulty

  • Due to Primordial Drakobloxxer's higher health, placing down many high DPS towers like the Accelerator, Engineer, Golden Minigunner, Pursuit, Ranger or Turret will be able to chip away its health.
  • Selling towers and replacing them near the Primordial Drakobloxxer is recommended as Primordial Drakobloxxer is able to teleport out of the towers' range.
    • Brawler is a good pick to fight this boss as you are able to move it using it reposition ability without having to waste the money needed to sell and replace.
    • The purple aura emitting out of Primordial Drakobloxxer's body will indicate that it is teleporting.
    • As an alternative to selling towers, you can use long-ranged towers like the Ranger as they are more likely to keep Primordial Drakobloxxer in their range.
      • It is recommended to set Rangers to Strongest for this, however one should also be wary of Flying enemies like the Cursed Horror that may leak through your defenses if your other towers lack flight detection.
  • Ensure that you have enough firepower to deal with the enemy hordes that appear after Primordial Drakobloxxer spawns.
    • Multiple Level 4 Jesters with confusion and poison bombs can greatly help hinder the advancement of the horde while also damaging them to make quick work of them.

Trivia

  • Primordial Drakobloxxer was a reference to the Drakobloxxers from the classic Roblox game Build To Survive Drakobloxxers! by Papasmurf.
    • Its name suggests it was a more evolved, advanced, and possibly mutated version of it.
      • The name may be a reference to the Great Drakobloxxer from Combat Initiation, as it is classified as primordial.
  • Primordial Drakobloxxer's internal name was just Drakobloxxer.
    • Because of this, all the enemies it summoned were called "Drakobloxxer's _____" instead of "Primordial Drakobloxxer's _____".
  • Primordial Drakobloxxer was the largest enemy in the game.
  • Primordial Drakobloxxer had the second most abilities in the game, tied with the Ducky D00M and Krampus, who appeared in D00M's Revenge and Krampus Frosthold respectively, only behind the Frost Spirit from the Operation I.C.E Event.
  • Primordial Drakobloxxer was the enemy with the longest name in the game, being 22 characters without including spaces. The length has beaten Awakened Fallen King and Korblox Deathwalker, with each having 18 characters when excluding spaces.
