Description

Papa Bread appeared exclusively in Village of Despair as part of the Christmas 2019 Event.

Papa Bread was a gingerbread with the ability to summon Presents. Unlike the Gingerbread and Burnt Gingerbread, this enemy cannot stun towers. While it has the same walkspeed as the Deep Freeze, it has lower health than it.

Appearance

Papa Bread had a similar appearance to the Gingerbread, with a gingerbread-like appearance. It wore a Christmas Coat, a belt, a Santa hat and a beard. It had glowing red eyes. It wielded a candy cane to spawn Presents.

Strategy

• Freezer's and Frost Blaster's can freeze Papa Bread, leaving you with more time to kill it.
• The Rocketeer and Demoman can be useful against Papa Bread, but not towards the Present that it spawns as it is immune to splash damage.
• This must be killed quite quickly or large numbers of Presents will likely overwhelm you.
  • It is unlikely that towers targeting Strongest will target Papa Bread due to the presence of the Deep Freeze.

Trivia

• Papa Bread's name and appearance bears a slight resemblance to Papa G. from R2DA.
  • The coat that Papa Bread wears is the Christmas Coat from R2DA.
