Description

The Packed Ice was an enemy that first appeared in the second phase of Krampus Frosthold as part of the Krampus' Revenge Event. It had a high amount of health and a high amount of defense, reducing the damage from most sources by 50%, though it moved somewhat slowly. It was also immune to being frozen, slowed down and having its defense dropped by freezing towers.

It could be spawned by the Krampus from its Secret Santa ability.

Appearance

The Packed Ice was a humanoid made entirely out of ice. It had a light blue head and arms, with a darker blue translucent torso, waist and legs. Its right arm was bigger than its left arm, the former of which had a chunk gouged out of it. There was an entire chunk of ice missing in the middle of its torso, which held a heart-shaped piece of ice, connected to the torso by four rods.

Strategy

• High DPS towers, like the Minigunner, Engineer or Ranger should be used to deal with this.
• The Packed Ice spawns in groups. Because of this, crowd control towers like the Mortar, Pursuit and Pyromancer can be very useful here.
  • As most splash towers ignore defense, they can be especially useful against this.
• As the Packed Ice's defense is quite high, defense dropping towers like the Pyromancer and Toxic Gunner can be useful at decreasing its defense.
  • Do note that as this cannot be frozen, the Frost Blaster and Freezer cannot be used to decrease its defense.
  • Multiple defense dropping towers, such as the Jester or Electroshocker, can also be used to slow it down.
