Overgrowth (Solar Eclipse) was previously removed from the game on the 26th of January 2022 as it was part of the Solar Eclipse Event, though it has been made available through the Sandbox mode.
It is not accessible anywhere else in the game, aside from in Sandbox Mode. This page will attempt to include information about both the version before removal and its re-added version.

Description

The Overgrowth was the second enemy that appeared in the second night of the Solar Eclipse Event. Currently, it can only appear in Sandbox mode. It had higher health than the Shroogma but was slower than it.

Appearance

The Overgrowth was a living, humanoid tree. Its body was made out of brown and dark brown wood, with a crown made of bark and a single carved leg. It had vines covering its body. It had neon pale green eyes. It walked with a slightly hunched back.

Strategy

• Cheap towers with high DPS, such as the Ace Pilot, Crook Boss, Hunter or Scout can deal with this.
  • For the Crook Boss and Scout, you can use their Golden skins for better performance.
• Since these are slow and spawn in groups, towers capable of hitting multiple enemies, like the Gladiator, are very effective.
