Outpost 32 (Frost Invasion) has been removed from the game as of the 4th of December 2021 as it was part of the Frost Invasion Event.
This page has been preserved for historical purposes.
Description
Outpost 32 was the event map for the Frost Invasion Event. Like other event maps, it had a specialized wave structure with special enemies. Upon triumphing, you were awarded with the Sledger, 100,
50 EXP and
, which could be used in the Frost Invasion Season.
You must have been Level 25+ to play this map. In this map, players started off with $1,400 (
$1,500 if players were in the community group). Additionally, the base health was set to 200, regardless of players' levels. Unlike other event maps, you could have up to six people per game.
Outpost 32 was a research facility which was researching portals to the frost dimension. A portal malfunctioned, opening the portal to the frost dimension, causing the entire facility to change seasons into winter and allowing enemies from its dimension to spawn in Outpost 32.
Design & Path
Outpost 32 was a winter-themed map, with multiple trees, lampposts and snow mounds scattered around the map. It was a fortified research facility. A small pond could be seen in the middle of the map. Near the end of the map, multiple brick walls with lights could be seen, alongside military hangars in the mountains. Several pipes and listening beacons could be seen. The entire research facility was located in a canyon.
When the Frost Spirit was defeated, the map became spring-themed, the snow melted and flowers blossomed, symbolizing that the season had been restored.
All four stone paths started at a portal before two paths took a turn left and another two took a turn right. They go around the pond and nearby mounds before the four paths connect again when passing by the entrance to the main compound. Later, they divide again going into two separate vehicle tunnels, which were the end of the paths.
Rewards
The game calculated how much Coins,
EXP and
you received based on how many waves you survived and if you won a match. During periods of 50% more
EXP (08:00 UTC Friday ā 08:00 UTC Sunday), any
EXP earned was multiplied by 1.5x. The VIP gamepass also multiplied any
EXP earned by 1.25x.
Any rewards that ended in a decimal point was rounded down, no matter the first figure of the leading decimal.
Rewards were calculated as:

Strategy
- Due to the high number of enemies that spawn in the map, towers that can hit multiple enemies, like the Pyromancer or Mortar, are highly recommended here.
- Like previous event maps, Farms do not generate money in this map, so if you need extra money, you can use Cowboy.
- However, during the later waves, you will get a lot of cash due to the large amount of enemies, making the Cowboy unnecessary.
- The Pyromancer deals double burn damage on this map, making it very useful early on during the game.
- Due to the large number of enemies that appear in this event, and the high health enemies, towers that deal high DPS, like the Accelerator, Turret, Pursuit, Toxic Gunner, Minigunner or Ranger, are strongly recommended.
- Be aware of the limited cliff space for the Ranger. You can place them at certain spots on the central mounds or on cliffs near the end of the path.
- The Military Base only spawns one unit per tower. Hence, its effectiveness is reduced, especially during the early stages of the game, since there are four paths on this map.

Trivia
- Upon defeating the Frost Spirit, Outpost 32 changed from a winter theme to a spring theme. This symbolized the fact that the Frost Invasion Event was released during Spring 2021.
- You could gain
even if you lost on the final wave.
- Outpost 32 is the first map to have four paths.
- It is also the first event map to have more than one path.
- Although the second version of Nightmare Carnival had two paths, the version used during the Halloween 2019 Event did not.
- It is also the first event map to have more than one path.
- This map was most likely a reference to Godzilla: King of the Monsters, as the map name is the same as a Monarch Sciences outpost, the one in Antarctica that kept Ghidorah.
- The ambience for Outpost 32 was a remix of Winter Bliss - Castle Crashers.
- Outpost 32 went under multiple changes before being added to the game.
- This map originally had one path, instead of four.
- It was also likely a town instead of a research facility. There was also a river.
- Enemies would come out from a cave instead of a portal.
- Falling into the pond in the middle of the map would cause you to fall out of the map.
- However, using certain emotes, like Frozen, would let you float in the pond.
