―In-Game Description

Description

Oops! All slimes! is a challenge map, which can be currently played in the Gilded Path map. It uses a modified version of the Fallen mode as its mode. Triumphing this challenge rewards the player with Gem 200, Experience 600 EXP, Time Scale Ticket 4 and three Blizzard Bombs. While in-game the Oops! All slimes! challenge states it gives Gem 125, Experience 400 EXP and Time Scale Ticket 3, this is not the case due to the modifiers present on this challenge boosting rewards by 40%. Like with other challenges, rewards can only be gotten once a week.

Changes

The main change in this challenge is all enemies spawn with the Slime attribute. This modifier also has multiple other effects, as it affects cash, wave structure and replaces some enemies with ones from the Nuclear modifier. It also applies the HP Locked modifier, setting the base health to 100, applies the Mutation modifier, increasing enemy health by 8% every wave after their debut and Badlands, which only boosts rewards and plays a track at the start of waves 1, 10, 20, 30 and 40. All of these modifiers boost the rewards by 60% total.

Enemies

A few enemies are replaced by the Nuclear modifier variants, albeit with reduced health:

Additionally, a few regular enemies also have their health values changed to match their previous Fallen mode health values.

Enemies that do not have a set cash that they give on death will give Cash (Gameplay Currency)$5 on death instead. Any enemies that do not have their health altered in any way by the challenge or modifiers present on this map are affected by Fallen mode's health scaling.

Cash

Starting cash in this challenge is increased by Cash (Gameplay Currency)$900, making it Cash (Gameplay Currency)$1,400 (Cash (Gameplay Currency)$1,500 if in the Paradoxum Games group). Additionally, the wave bonus is also increased.

The formula for calculating wave bonus on each wave is:

Cash (Gameplay Currency)$200 + (Cash (Gameplay Currency)$100 Ɨ Waves Completed - 1)

Depending on player count, the wave bonus is reduced using multipliers, by same amount as in regular Fallen mode. These multipliers are:

Players Reduction per Player Total Reduction
Solo 0% 0%
Duo 15% 30%
Trio 13% 39%

Prior to the 2nd of August 2024, cash was reduced by 10% for each player, starting with it being reduced by 10% in solo and going up to a 30% reduction in trio.

Strategy

  • For the first few waves, the number of Abnormals that spawns is reduced significantly, allowing you to farm for the first few waves.
    • Slimes do not spawn as long as the enemy is not killed.
    • By Wave 5, the number of enemies is the same as regular Fallen mode. Defenses should be set up a few waves before it.
    • You may want to use the Cowboy and Golden Cowboy over the Farm in this challenge as they can make money out of the Slimes that spawn. However, it is recommended to use both towers, as most enemies in this challenge do not have a set given cash, meaning they will give only Cash (Gameplay Currency)$5. Additionally, the improved wave bonus allows you to farm better.
  • As Slime has 100 health, this means every enemy has 100 more health than usual, with the increase getting bigger with each wave as the Mutation modifier is applied on this map.
    • The Brawler is the most effective option against this, as its high damage and cheap cost allow it to kill Slimes quickly.
      • It is also harder for it to get overwhelmed by hordes, as early-on enemies are spaced out more than they usually are.
    • Stalling towers like the Cryomancer can be effective at stalling the Slimes, giving your towers more time to kill them.
  • As the Nuclear Monster is the final boss of this challenge, high DPS towers are required to triumph this challenge. This includes towers like the Engineer, Accelerator and Ranger.
  • You may use a Nuke to clear the hordes of enemies that appear on the final wave, making it so that your towers can focus on the Nuclear Monster instead of the multiple enemies that spawn alongside it.
  • As the slime attribute applied to every enemy overrides abilities that would be performed on death, multiple enemies are much weaker than usual. This includes enemies like the Abomination being unable to revive itself or the Circuit not being able to boost the speed of enemies.

Trivia

  • The challenge name may be a reference to Oops! All Berries, a line of Cap'n Crunch breakfast cereal produced by the Quaker Oats Company.
