Ninja has been removed from the game as of the 29th of October 2020.
Ninja may still exist in the game's code, though it is no longer officially used in-game. This page has been preserved for historical purposes.
Description
The Ninja was an enemy that could not be attacked by towers without hidden detection. Without hidden detection, the Ninja was a nuisance. Compared to the Hidden, the Ninja was slightly faster and also had more health.
The Ninja appeared in Golden and Fallen modes. It was replaced by its counterpart, the Hidden, in Beginners and Molten modes.
Upon its death, the Mystery could have spawned the Ninja in Golden and Fallen modes. The Dark Necromancer could have also spawned the Ninja.
Upon Golden mode's reappearance through Sandbox mode, it has been fully replaced by the Shadow.
Appearance
The Ninja had black fabric legs, headband and torso. It had black skin and a drooling zombie face. It also had a swordpack on its back.
Strategy
- Towers with hidden detection are the best way to attack Ninjas.
- Most early game towers gain hidden detection. Such towers are recommended to deal with early-game Ninjas.
- The Level 2 Minigunner is a strong option as the Ninja is quite strong and early game towers may not output enough damage to defeat it.
- Use of the Farm to get the Minigunner early is recommended.
- For splash damage towers that cannot target the Ninja, such as the Rocketeer, if a Ninja is caught up in an explosion, they will be dealt splash damage.
- This means that another detectable enemy must be near the Ninja for a splash damage tower to hit the Ninja.
- Units (like Military Base vehicles and Crook Boss Crooks and Mafias) cannot target the Ninja but can damage the Ninja through collision.
- The Level 2 Military Base is fairly viable against the Ninja.
- However, do not rely on Crooks or Mafias as they have very low health.
- You can use the Frost Blaster to slow this down, though it is not necessary.
- The Electroshocker, while not having hidden detection, can hit the Ninja with a chain reaction if another detectable enemy is near it.
- Although the Pyromancer does not have hidden detection, its flames can pierce through enemies, so the Ninja can be hit if there is another detectable enemy near it.
- The Freezer's Ice Age ability can slow the Ninja down. In addition, if a Ninja is caught in a Freezer's splash radius, it will be frozen.
Trivia
- The Ninja used the Swordpack accessory from the Roblox catalog.
- The headband used by the Ninja is the Black Ninja Headband of the Silent Sun accessory from the Roblox catalog.
- This enemy was replaced by the Shadow in the Overhaul Update.
