Description

The Mega Clanker was an enemy that appeared in the fourth night of the Solar Eclipse Event. It was very similar to the Clanker, but it had more health and was slower. It was also a lead enemy, reducing the amount of towers you could use.

Appearance

The Mega Clanker was a mechanical humanoid out of black and orange-yellow metal. Its appearance was a mix of steampunk and normal machinery. It had a cross on its face.

Strategy

• High DPS towers that can damage lead enemies are recommended, such as the Level 3+ Ranger or Accelerator.
  • You can use the Commander to boost the firerate of these towers.
• The Ace Pilot can damage it with bombs, and the Pursuit can damage this with missiles, however due to their low damage they are not recommended.
• You can use slowing towers like the Electroshocker, Toxic Gunner or Sledger to slow this down.
  • The Toxic Gunner and Electroshocker can also be used to damage them, however the damage dealt is quite low.

Trivia

• The name of the Mega Clanker may be a reference to Star Wars, as the Clone Troopers often call the Droids a Clanker.
• This alongside the Clanker are the first and so far only lead enemies that do not appear in Hardcore mode.
