Additionally, the Mecha Base will not be included in strategy sections for pages, unless it is specifically referring to the state of the game where the Mecha Base was publicly obtainable.
- "Send out a mecha every couple of seconds to run over and shoot zombies."
- ―Inventory Description
Description
The Mecha Base is currently a tower exclusive to anyone who is an administrator or higher in the Tower Defense Simulator Discord server, though on rare occasions it was given to other people. It spawns futuristic units which can attack enemies as they moved. Each vehicle spawns at the end of the path, with regular intervals between each spawn. It heads towards the start of the path until it is destroyed. If it reaches the start of the map, it will naturally be destroyed.
The Mecha Base spawns several mechanized walkers (called Marks, for example, Mark I), depending on the level of the Mecha Base. These mechanized walkers can shoot bullets from afar, and most can shoot rockets.
The Mecha Base has a placement limit of 4 per player.

Strategy
- The Mecha Base is extremely useful for large maps, like Tropical Isles and Polluted Wasteland II, due to its units having long range.
- It is not recommended to use it on shorter maps like Dead Ahead as its very long spawnrate can make it ineffective.
- In maps with multiple paths, only one unit spawns as opposed to two. This unit will go down a random path.
- The Mecha Base can be an effective counter against enemies with defense, such as the Templar or Fallen Guardian, as they deal full damage when colliding with enemies.
- The missiles can also deal full damage to defense enemies.
- The gun is still affected by defense.
- The Mecha Base is useful against bosses, as it cannot be stunned or have debuffs applied to it.
- However, some enemies can deal damage to units with their attacks. For example, the Fallen King deals 150 damage to units with its The Foil, the ĆpĆ©e and the Sabre ability.
- This generally should not be a problem, due to the Mecha Base's units high health at later levels, with the exception of the Void Reaver which can instantly destroy all units spawned by it.
- However, some enemies can deal damage to units with their attacks. For example, the Fallen King deals 150 damage to units with its The Foil, the ĆpĆ©e and the Sabre ability.
- It is best advised to place the tower away from the main path as it has no use close to it.
- DJ Booth and the Commander cannot increase range or decrease firerate of the any of the units, respectively.
Trivia
- During Hardcore Testing BETA, the Mecha Base was obtainable through the hardcore lobby. However, when the Overhaul Update released, it was no longer obtainable and became exclusive again.
- The Mecha Base was only added to the game as a public tower to test units in the Overhaul Update.
- This also makes it the first exclusive tower to be publicly used.
- The Mecha Base was originally based on the Zed from Tower Battles. However, after Hardcore testing, the Mecha Base significantly deviated from it design wise.
- There was a bug where the Mecha Base did not spawn Mark Vs at Level 5, instead spawning Mark IVs.
- Additionally, the Mark IV and Mark V were both mislabelled as Mark III.
- All of these bugs were fixed in the Entity System Update.
- Additionally, the Mark IV and Mark V were both mislabelled as Mark III.
- The Mecha Base uses Medic upgrade icons, instead of using its own unique ones.
- Before the Overhaul Update, it used Military Base icons.
- It is likely the Mecha Base used the Medic upgrade icons as it was the next tower alphabetically.
- The upgrade prices are also the same as Medic upgrade prices, with the exception of base cost.
- In addition, the Mecha Bases upgrade stats during Hardcore Testing BETA were labelled as "REMIND TO REMAKE STATS", hinting that the tower was not fully complete.
- As of currently, the Mecha Base does not have any upgrade descriptions.
- The Medic also had stats labelled as "REMIND TO REMAKE STATS" during Hardcore Testing BETA, though the Medic's stats were never remade.
- The Mark IV and Mark V had the highest range of any unit or tower in the game, totalling at 100.
- The icon for the Mecha Base was outdated, as it still showed an XR unit instead of a Mark unit.
