- "AOE focused challenge that pits the player against swarms of enemies."
- ―In-Game Description
Description
Legion is a challenge map. It uses a modified version of the Fallen mode as its mode. Triumphing on this map rewards the player with 100, 300 EXP, 2 and two High Grade Consumable Crates. However, the rewards can be higher if modifiers that affect rewards are present. Like with other challenges, rewards can only be gotten once a week.
Changes
The main change in this challenge is enemies spawning twice as much, with some exceptions, and the wave structure being altered, making it harder. Unlike the All Paths modifier, bosses do spawn on both sides, meaning two Fallen Kings spawn on this map.
Enemies
All enemy replacements from Enemies Beta are applied here, with the exception of the Dark Necromancer and Summoner Boss if the selected map does not have Enemies Beta. The Summoner Boss spawns Mysteries and Mystery Bosses as a bug. These summons the same enemies as regular Fallen mode.
A few regular enemies also have their health values, which for most of them is changed to match their previous Fallen mode health values.
- Abnormal - 6 health (-2)
- Quick - 4 health (-6)
- Heavy - 16 health (-44)
- Breaker2 - 50 health (-30)
- Fallen - 180 health (-45)
- Fallen Hero - 5,000 health (+2,000)
- Fallen Guardian - 14,000 health (-18,000)
- Fallen King - 75,000 health (-125,000)
Wave Structure
Bolded names indicate an enemy type's debut. If the All Paths modifier is present on the map, all enemies will be duplicated for each path except the Fallen King.

Cash
Starting cash in this challenge is increased by $200, making it $700 ($800 if in the Paradoxum Games group). Additionally, the wave bonus is also decreased.
For solo and duo, they calculated as:
- $125 + ($25 Ć Waves Completed - 1)
Depending on player count, the wave bonus is reduced using multipliers. These multipliers are:
Players | Reduction per Player | Total Reduction |
---|---|---|
Solo | 0% | 0% |
Duo | 15% | 30% |
Trio | 13% | 39% |
The wave clear bonus appears when every enemy from that wave was killed. It is 35% of the wave bonus in solo, while for duo and trio it is 20%.
Strategy
- Due to the large amount of enemies, you generally gain a larger amount of cash, enabling you to afford more DPS towers compared to normal games.
- Crowd control towers are recommended because large groups of enemies spawn in this challenge.
- Towers like the Golden Pyromancer, Pyromancer and Electroshocker is very useful early on.
- The Mortar and Pursuit is especially useful for this challenge, as it has high range and cannot get stunned.
- This is apparent because twice the amount of enemies spawn in this challenge.
- Single target DPS such as the Accelerator, Golden Minigunner and Ranger is still very valuable as enemies such as the Warden have a lot of health.
- As the enemies spawn each on path, the Cowboy and the Golden Cowboy can generate extra income from these enemies.
- At Wave 15, Nimble Shadows appear, failing to deal with them may result in an early defeat.
- Breakers are a common threat, they can easily overwhelm your towers, be sure to balance between AOE towers and single target towers.
- Slime Glitches can turn into hordes of enemies that can easily overwhelm your defenses.
- Stalling towers like the Electroshocker or Cryomancer is great as they grant you more time to kill these enemies.
