―In-Game Description

Description

Legion is a challenge map. It uses a modified version of the Fallen mode as its wave structure. Triumphing on this map rewards the player with Gem 110, Experience 330 EXP, Time Scale Ticket 2 and two High Grade Consumable Crates. Like with other challenges, rewards can only be gotten once a week.

Changes

The main change in this challenge is enemies spawning twice as much, with some exceptions, and the wave structure being altered, making it harder. Unlike the All Paths modifier, bosses do spawn on both sides, meaning two Fallen Kings spawn on this map.

Enemies

All enemy replacements from Enemies Beta are applied here, with the exception of the Dark Necromancer and Summoner Boss if the selected map does not have Enemies Beta.

A few regular enemies also have their health values, which for most of them is changed to match their previous Fallen mode health values.

Wave Structure

Bolded names indicate an enemy type's debut. If the All Paths modifier is present on the map, all enemies will be duplicated for each path except the Fallen King.

Cash

Starting cash in this challenge is increased by Cash (Gameplay Currency)$200, making it Cash (Gameplay Currency)$700 (Cash (Gameplay Currency)$800 if in the Paradoxum Games group). Additionally, the wave bonus is also decreased.

For solo and duo, they calculated as:

Cash (Gameplay Currency)$125 + (Cash (Gameplay Currency)$25 × Waves Completed - 1)

Depending on player count, the wave bonus is reduced using multipliers. These multipliers are:

Players Reduction per Player Total Reduction
Solo 0% 0%
Duo 15% 30%
Trio 13% 39%

The wave clear bonus appears when every enemy from that wave was killed. It is 35% of the wave bonus in solo, while for duo and trio it is 20%.

Strategy

  • Due to the large amount of enemies, you generally gain a larger amount of cash, enabling you to afford more DPS towers compared to normal games.
  • Area of effect towers are recommended because large groups of enemies spawn in this challenge.
  • Single target DPS options like the Accelerator, Golden Minigunner and Ranger are still valuable, as enemies such as the Warden have a lot of health.
    • As the enemy count is doubled, the Cowboy and the Golden Cowboy can generate much more income in this challenge.
  • Towers with hidden detection should be placed down early on, as early Nimble Shadows may result in an early defeat.
  • A balance between AOE towers and single target towers can prevent Breakers from overwhelming you.
  • Slime Glitches can turn into hordes of enemies that can easily overwhelm your defenses.
