Korblox Necromancer was previously removed from the game on the 24th of March 2025 as it was part of the The Hunt: Mega Edition Event, though it has been made available through the Sandbox mode.
It is not accessible anywhere else in the game, aside from in Sandbox Mode. This page will attempt to include information about both the version before removal and its re-added version.

Description

The Korblox Necromancer, internally referred to as Frost Necromancer, is an enemy that appears in The Hunt: Mega Edition Event, but only the Impossible difficulty of it. It has a high amount of health but is rather slow. It has one ability, Forbidden Arts, where it summons four random enemies. These can be the Korblox Undead with a 75% chance and Korblox Warrior with a 25% chance. Each spawn has a 0.4 second delay between each other and each spawn spawns with a random attribute. This can be Nimble with 35% chance and Bloated with a 65% chance.

Logbook Description

"Frost Necromancers are artists, rejuvenating life into the corpses of the fallen and employing them to do their bidding. With staffs filled with energized ice, they willfully control their minions and grant them unique modifiers. Though shunned by the Frost Realm as tainted beings, Frost Necromancers remain beloved by the Frost Spirit to raise the dead."

Appearance

The Korblox Necromancer is a floating, grey skeleton which wears purple robes. Its torso is black. On its back, it carries multiple skeletal parts, which are attached to it through chains wrapped around its torso. It wields a grey staff which has a lantern attached to it. This lantern contains energized ice, which allows them to summon and control its summoned enemies.

Event Strategy

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Korblox Temple is listed instead.

• High DPS towers, like the Ranger, Minigunner, Pursuit or Golden Minigunner can be useful against this.
  • The Commander and DJ Booth can also be useful at boosting the statistics of these towers.
• Crowd control towers like the Mortar, Rocketeer or Trapper can be used to deal with the Korblox Necromancer itself and the hordes of enemies it summons.

Trivia

• The Korblox Necromancer reuses the same model and animations as the Frost Necromancer in the Operation I.C.E Event.
  • This is pointed out by the Commander in-game, mentioning how it has seen that enemy somewhere before.
  • Additionally, the Korblox Necromancer still uses Frost Necromancer as its internal name. This means that for example, when its Logbook is picked up, it will refer to it as the Frost Necromancer, not Korblox Necromancer.
