The Ice Turret is a unit that is spawned by the Elementalist. It spawns when the Ice Turret ability is used at Levels 2-4 when the Elementalist is set to its frost mode. It does not spawn on the path and instead is spawned within the Elementalist's range.
The Ice Turret will fire at enemies in its range, applying chillness to them. Upon reaching max chillness, the enemy will be frozen for two seconds.
Appearance
The Ice Turret is a tripod device constructed out of metal, colored grey and white with multiple neon blue parts. It has a mounted freeze rifle, which it fires at enemies with.

Strategy
Due to its relatively short range, the Ice Turret is most effective when built on loops, turns, or areas where enemies cross over more than once.
This is only accessible if the Elementalist has its range covered at such locations.
The Ice Turret can be quite effective at dealing damage to high health enemies like the Elite Abnormal and Molten Golem, while also doing well against hordes of weaker enemies like the Hazmat.
The Ice Turret does not have hidden detection, meaning you have to either rely on the Elementalist or other towers for hidden detection.
The Ice Turret is not affected by any buff or debuff.
The Ice Turret has an extremely high amount of health, meaning that it is unlikely to be killed by a lot of enemy abilities, though it is not completely invincible.
While the Boomer cannot kill it with its 400 damage explosion, the Unknown can with its 1,000 damage Stomp.
