Description

The Golden Mafia was a unit spawned by the Golden Crook Boss at Level 4. The Golden Mafia was essentially a re-skin of the Mafia, as it had similar appearance and stats, but had very little in common with the Body Guards 2. As with other units, it started from the player's base and moved towards the entrance of the map. The Golden Mafia had a spawnrate of 60 seconds.

Whenever there was an enemy in its range, the Golden Mafia would stop moving to shoot at the enemy. It would continue walking when there are no enemies left in its range.

There was a limit of 3 units per Golden Crook Boss, limiting the amount of Golden Mafias it could spawn.

The Golden Mafia had tan skin, a yellow fedora and a dark yellow business suit which had dark red outlines on its sleeves, complete with a dark red tie. It also had a white torso, dark grey legs and black shoes. It also wore golden shades and carried two golden UZIs in both hands to fire at enemies. Yellow sparkles came out from its UZIs.

The original Golden Mafia had yellow skin, blonde hair and beard, black legs, and a yellow business suit, complete with a red tie. It wore a pair of golden shades and had a smug face. A golden aura pulsated from its torso. It carried a golden AK-47 to fire at enemies.

Strategy

• You should not rely too much on Golden Mafias because of their slow spawnrate.
• The Golden Mafia cannot detect Hidden and Flying enemies, but they can still be damaged when the Golden Mafia collides with them. However, this is likely unfavorable as the Golden Mafia's main source of damage is ranged.
  • The Ace Pilot cannot give the Golden Mafia hidden detection.
  • The Golden Mafia cannot collide with ghost enemies, such as the Soul.
• On two-pathed maps, only one Golden Mafia will spawn per Level 4 Golden Crook Boss. It will go down a random path.
• The Golden Mafia will struggle against fast enemies like the Error or Glitch, as they can run into Golden Mafias without taking much damage.
  • However, it can perform very well against slow enemies, like the Giant Boss.
• The range of the Golden Mafia can be increased by the DJ Booth, as long as the Golden Crook Boss that spawned it is in range of the DJ Booth.
  • The Golden Mafia cannot be affected by any other buffs or debuffs, such as Commander's firerate buff or Ace Pilot's ability to grant hidden detection.
• The Golden Mafia will struggle against any enemy with abilities that damage units, as their health is lower than any amount of damage that these enemies can deal.
  • For example, if the Fallen King uses its Stomp attack, and a Golden Mafia is caught in the attack, it is instantly killed.

Trivia

• Only the Golden Crook Boss spawned Golden Mafias instead of Body Guards 2.
  • All the other skins for the Crook Boss, spawn the regular Body Guards 2.
• The Golden Mafia is based on the Mafia City meme.
• The original Golden Mafia death sound was the same death sound that Roblox uses.
• The shades used by the Golden Mafia is the Midnight Shades accessory from the Roblox catalog.
• The Golden Mafia wore a re-textured version of the Perfectly Legitimate Business Hat.
• The second version of the Golden Mafia looks quite similar to the current appearance of 24 Karat.
