Description

The Frost Hero was an ice elemental enemy that appeared in Village of Despair as part of the Christmas 2019 Event. It also used to spawn in the legacy Hidden Wave which meant it could spawn on Fallen mode.

Due to its high health, it posed a significant threat despite its slow speed. The Frost Hero also possessed two abilities capable of stunning towers: the Rock Throw ability which inflicted a prolonged stun on a single tower, and the Sword Swing ability which could stun a group of towers.

Appearance

The Frost Hero was quite a large enemy, about the same size as the Fallen Guardian. It had a blue frost mask and helmet, dark blue granite wings, full blue armor (including chestplate, shoulder-pads and leggings). It also wielded a sword. It had a drooling zombie face and blue skin. Its torso and legs were black.

Strategy

  • The Electroshocker can be used to slow the Frost Hero down to allow your towers more time to kill it.
    • The Freezer and Frost Blaster can actually be quite useful against this enemy as it is not immune to their freeze.
      • However, due to the Frost Hero's size, these towers can only slow it down for a short period of time compared to an average-sized enemy.
  • Cheap towers, such as the Scout, can be used to distract this enemy, keeping your main towers attacking it.
    • However, this wastes a tower slot in the late game which can be used for towers that deal more damage.
  • You can use the Medic's ability to cleanse towers, if they were stunned by the Frost Hero, so long the Medic isn't stunned itself.
  • As usual, high DPS towers, such as the Minigunner, Ranger, Accelerator and Turret, are recommended against this enemy.

Trivia

  • The Frost Hero was loosely based on the Titan from Tower Battles in terms of abilities.
  • A version of the Frost Hero existed before the MEGA Update, though it was completely different to this variant of the Frost Hero.
