Description
The Fallen Summoner is a summoner enemy that appears in Fallen mode. It is a stronger version of the Fallen Necromancer, having a higher health, faster speed and stronger abilities. When it first spawns, it is a boss enemy. It has two abilities, the first is Rise of the Fallen, where it summons three enemies, which are either the Necrotic Skeleton (40% chance) or the Possessed Armor (60% chance). Its second ability, Ghost State, only happens when it loses half of its health. It will become a hidden enemy, which also makes it slightly translucent.
Appearance
The Fallen Summoner has black skin. It has neon blue eyes and a white mouth. It wears a black and blue robe with a hood. This robe has a few blue gems on it. The robe's hood has horns on it. It wears skull shoulder-pads with neon blue eyes and black horns. It walks with a staff which, when used, creates purple smoke.
Strategy
- High DPS towers, like the the Turret, Minigunner or Accelerator can be useful here.
- High DPS towers with crowd control capabilities can be especially useful, as they can hit both the Fallen Summoner and the enemies it summons. Such towers include the Ranger, Pursuit and Engineer.
- At half health, the Fallen Summoner will become hidden, so make sure you have sufficient hidden detection source.
- Crowd control towers like the Mortar or Electroshocker can be useful at dealing with the enemies spawned by the Fallen Summoner.
- As the Fallen Summoner has no immunities, with the exception of its first appearance, the Electroshocker can also be very useful at slowing it down, however do note that it does not have hidden detection.
- No cash can be generated from summoned enemies. This includes the Cowboy's cash generation.
- However, this also means that the Cowboy will deal more DPS to the summons, as attacking summoned enemies does not make it spin its guns, making it attack for longer.
- As the Fallen Summoner has no immunities after its first appearance, any slowing tower can be used to slow it down.
- Do note that some of them, such as the freezing towers, will be less effective against it, due to its large size.
