Description
The Fallen Squire is a large enemy that appears in Fallen and High Rank PVP Test modes. It has high health and it has the Aggro attribute, which makes towers target the Fallen Squire until it is either dead or out of range. Its purpose is to introduce the Aggro attribute while being a large threat to defenses early on in the game.
Appearance
The Fallen Squire is a large humanoid with a waist, lower arms and lower legs in its rig. It has a black body and wears a chestplate, boots, shoulder-pads and spiked helmet, which are made of desaturated rusty light blue metal with grey framing. It has light blue diamonds on its chestplate and boots and wears dark brown bandages on its arms as well as a ragged brown cape. It wields a sword with a dark grey blade and light blue hilt, as well as a light blue shield with a grey metal frame.
It has three random walking animations, one where it runs while points its sword forward and holding its shield to the side, one holding the shield and sword forward while hunched forward, and one tilting to the side while holding its sword up and shield forward. It also has a death animation where it falls onto its back while dropping its sword and shield.
Strategy
- The Fallen Squire has the Aggro attribute, which means that towers will target it until it is either dead or out of range.
- High DPS towers such as the Engineer or Minigunner can be used to quickly eliminate it.
- Spreading out towers can help by having towers target a variety of enemies.
- Towers with splash damage, such as the Demoman or Mortar, can be used to hit surrounding enemies despite being affected by Aggro.
- The Electroshocker can be useful, as its chain lightning will hit enemies near the Fallen Squire, while also slowing it down.
- Units, like the Humvee 2 or Rifleman, can be used to collide into enemies in front of it.
- Do note that units are also affected by the Aggro attribute.
- If you cannot afford sufficient defenses, you can use weaker consumables like the Grenade or AirStrike to take care of the Fallen Squire.
