Description
The Fallen Honor Guard is a mini boss that appears only in Fallen mode. It has a high amount of health, the highest for a non-boss enemy in the entire mode, only being beaten by the Fallen King and its Hidden Wave version, Awakened Fallen King. While it does have a high amount of health, it is slow. It has a two abilities, first being For Honor, where it smashes its flails to the ground, creating a shockwave that stuns any tower and damages any unit caught in it. The second ability is Guard's Grace, which makes it leave a puddle of goo every 0.5 which lasts 2 seconds on the path. This trail of goo applies a 5% speed buff to any enemy that walks over it for 2 seconds. This speed buff can stack multiple times.
Appearance
The Fallen Honor Guard is a hulking humanoid. It has black skin with multiple blue veins. It also has a few bandages around its arms. It has very dark teal and silver armor with cyan gems plating its whole body and a frog-mouth helm with cyan gems covering its whole head, and two large spiked flails connected to its arms, which it smashes into the ground when using its For Honor ability. The gem on its chestplate emits blue light. All of its armor is covered in small amounts of dirt. When it walks, it leaves behind a purple trail, makes loud footsteps and shakes the screen.
Strategy
- High DPS towers, such as the Accelerator, Engineer and Turret are recommended to take this enemy down.
- The DJ Booth, Commander and Mercenary Base can be used to boost these towers.
- The Medic can be used to cleanse towers stunned by the Fallen Honor Guard's For Honor ability.
- When it first spawns, it is a boss enemy, limiting the amount of towers that can slow it down.
- Confusion and Toxic Gunner cannot slow it down at all.
- Freezing towers cannot freeze it, but can still slow it down.
- As it has stun immunity by default, stunning towers cannot stun it regardless if it is a boss or not, only slowing it down and it cannot be knocked back by towers with knockback.
- One of the Fallen Honor Guard in Hidden Wave can regenerate its health, and spawn in hordes. Towers that can stall hordes of enemies such as Cryomancer and Jester are required so that your towers can attack them for longer.
- As it has the No Stun attribute, the Electroshocker is a much less effective option, however it can still be brought to deal with other enemies.
- Due to multiple of them spawning, high DPS towers with stun immunity such as Ranger and Pursuit are heavily advised.
