Description

The Evil Elf was an enemy that first appeared on Wave 18 in Cold Ambush as part of the Violent Night Event. It had a very high amount of health, a high amount of defense and walked quite fast for its health. It had one ability, Festive Swipe, where it would stop moving and slash its scythe at a tower, setting it on fire. Additionally, it was immune to being frozen and immune to being stunned by the Warden and Electroshocker. All of this made it a very threatening enemy.

Appearance

The Evil Elf was a hulking elf with pale-green skin. Its rig had lower arms and a waist. It had a dark blue shirt with white fur along the sleeves, as well as stitch lines on the sides of the arms. It had a black line going down the middle of its torso and waist, as well as down the sides of its sleeves. It also had black stains on its torso and upper arms. It had dark navy pants and black shoes. It also wore a dark blue Christmas hat.

It wielded a red and white striped candy cane themed scythe. On the end opposite of the blade are six holly leaves. The blade itself is a yellow and red striped piece of metal wedged into the bottom of the candy cane.

Strategy

  • High DPS towers like the Accelerator, Ranger and Engineer are recommended against this enemy.
    • These towers should have their firerate and range boosted by the Commander and DJ Booth respectively.
    • The Ranger cannot be stunned by the Evil Elf, nor can the Engineer's sentries be destroyed by it, making them both very effective.
  • The Medic can be used to cleanse the stuns from towers stunned by the Evil Elf's Festive Swipe ability.
  • Slowing towers can be useful in delaying the Evil Elf's advance.
    • The Freezer, Frost Blaster and Sledger cannot slow the Evil Elf down due to its freeze immunity.
    • The Electroshocker and Warden are less effective against the Evil Elf due to its energy immunity, only being able to slow it down as opposed to stunning it.
    • The Toxic Gunner can be used at its maximum potential, slowing the Evil Elf down by 25%.
  • Defense dropping towers like the Pyromancer can be used to reduce the Evil Elf's defense.
  • As the Evil Elf stops moving to use its ability, you could use cheap towers like the Scout to distract the Evil Elf, causing it to use its ability on the tower, stopping it from moving and buying more time to defeat it.
