Description

The Error is a very fast enemy that appears in Fallen and Hardcore modes. It also appears in Badlands II and Pizza Party. While it has somewhat low health compared to other enemies that spawn during its debut (like the Tank or Slow King), its speed is high enough to overcome weaker defenses. The Error also has stun immunity, which makes it immune to the Warden and Electroshocker's stun, being only slowed down.

The Error can be spawned from the Mystery upon its death in Fallen and Hardcore modes, wave 37 onwards for Fallen mode, and wave 43 onwards for Hardcore mode.

The Error is replaced by the Circuit in Polluted Wasteland II.

Appearance

The Error is a chaotic multi-colored enemy with no face. It has a red head, left arm and right leg. It also has a salmon colored torso and left leg. It has a yellow right arm, which holds a very reflective navy DVD disk. On its torso is an emblem of a navy DVD. It emits large glitch particles of various colors from its torso. It also plays a brief error sound upon death. It runs with both of its arms pointing upwards, flailing.

Strategy

  • The strategy against the Error is mostly the same as the strategies to be used against the Glitch, but keep in mind that the Error has much higher health compared to the Glitch, and also appears in conjunction with tougher enemies, like the Tank, Boomer, Summoner Boss.
    • Using towers that deal high DPS, such as the Golden Minigunner, Engineer, Accelerator and Ranger, are highly recommended against the Error.
      • While the Accelerator can be used against Errors, be aware of its charge-up time. The delay may allow some Errors to get past.
      • The Commander is almost essential against the Error as the firerate boost it provides can allow towers to attack the Error more often before it moves out of range.
      • The DJ Booth can also be very helpful, as the range boost will keep Errors in the range of towers for longer.
  • The Electroshocker, Sledger and Warden can be used to slow this down.
    • Do note that the stun immunity that the Error has causes stunning towers like the Electroshocker to only slow it down instead of stunning it.
    • The Sledger may not be able to attack all the Errors that enter its range as its range is short. However, if timed correctly, it can freeze multiple Errors at once.

Trivia

  • The Error may be a reference to DVD Man (originating from one of M.U.G.E.N.s' games).
  • The Error may be inspired by Tower Battles's Error from Wave 0000000.
  • The Error's disc may look different on different angles depending on the map.
    • This is due to it being very reflective.
  • As its name suggests, the Error makes an error sound when it dies, specifically this sound.
