Description[]

The Deep Freeze was an ice elemental enemy. It appeared in Village of Despair as part of the Christmas 2019 Event.

For its debut, the Deep Freeze had a high amount of health, higher than the Frozen. However, it walked quite slowly. The Deep Freeze could not be frozen by the Freezer and Frost Blaster as it had freeze immunity.

The Deep Freeze could also have been spawned by Krampus.

Appearance[]

The Deep Freeze was larger than the Frozen. It had blue skin, and its torso and legs were white marble. The Deep Freeze also had a spiky neckguard, while its back was also spiky. White ice chunks could be seen sticking out of the Deep Freeze's arms and legs. On the side of its head, a tumor could be seen.

Strategy[]

  • The Deep Freeze is the first high health enemy you encounter in Village of Despair. Make sure you have enough Minigunners and Outlaws to deal with this.
    • A Commander may also be required when you first encounter this.
  • The Deep Freeze is slower than the Snowman and Burnt Gingerbread, meaning that those enemies can pass the Deep Freeze and act as a shield.
    • In this case, it is best to have a Rocketeer on hand to defeat the weaker enemies.
  • The Deep Freeze is completely immune to the Freezer and Frost Blaster, including the Freezer's Ice Age.
    • If you want to slow it down, then you can use the Pyromancer.

Trivia[]

  • While an enemy existed before the MEGA Update that was also called Deep Freeze, it had very little in common with this variant of the Deep Freeze.
    • The Deep Freeze that appeared in Outpost 32 had a very similar appearance to this version of the Deep Freeze.
