Description

The Deep Freeze was an ice elemental enemy. Compared to the Frozen, the Deep Freeze was slightly slower, but it had more health. The Deep Freeze was immune to the Freezer's basic freeze, but not its Ice Drop.

The second version of the Deep Freeze had sky blue skin and was faceless. Its torso and legs were marble blue. It also had rusty blue armbands. A tumor could be seen on the Deep Freeze's head.

Strategy

• Rocketers and Demomen can easily wipe out hordes of Deep Freezes.
  • The Outlaw, with the Commander's firerate buff, can also be helpful in defeating this.
• The Pyromancer can be used to slow the Deep Freeze down to allow your towers more time to kill it.
• Despite being an ice elemental enemy, this can be frozen by the Freezer's Ice Drop ability.
  • However, the Freezer cannot freeze the Deep Freeze with its normal attack.

Trivia

• While enemies that used the same name as the Deep Freeze appeared in Village of Despair and Outpost 32, they had very little in common with this variant of the Deep Freeze.
• The Deep Freeze had the quickest appearance change in the entire game, with its appearance being changed later the same day it was added.
