Crying Angel
Frost Invasion ā€¢ Krampus Frosthold ā€¢ Operation I.C.E
Sandbox Only Content

Crying Angel (Operation I.C.E) was previously removed from the game on the 15th of January 2025 as it was part of the Operation I.C.E Event, though it has been made available through the Sandbox mode.
It is not accessible anywhere else in the game, aside from in Sandbox Mode. This page will attempt to include information about both the version before removal and its re-added version.

Description

The Crying Angel was a Flying enemy that appeared in the Operation I.C.E Event. Currently, it can only appear in Sandbox mode. It has low health though it moves quite fast. As it is a Flying enemy, only towers and units with flying detection can target it. It also has the Freeze Immunity, meaning that it cannot be frozen or chilled by freezing towers.

Logbook Description

"The Crying Angel is a follower of the Frost Spirit. It is created when devoted members of the Frost Army undergoes handpicked transformation. Through the Frost Spirit's will, any creature can become one of these aerial beings adorned with chains, wings, and the Followerā€™s Halo. These transformed creatures now circle above the Frost Spirit's cathedral-like castle, tirelessly waiting for their next orders."

Appearance

The Crying Angel is an entity with a light blue skin, white torso and white legs. It has two light blue wings connected to its torso with grey chains, which are wrapped around its torso. It also had a light blue spiked halo floating above its head, which is the Follower's Halo.

The Crying Angel was entirely made out of translucent blue ice. Its torso and legs were darker than its head and arms. It had two light blue wings connected to its torso with blue chains, which were wrapped around its torso. It also had a light blue spiked halo floating above its head.

Event Strategy

As this enemy only appears through Sandbox mode, no strategy section is made for its current version. Instead, a strategy section for the one that appeared without Sandbox mode in Outpost 32 is listed instead.

  • As it is a Flying enemy, towers with flying detection like the Pursuit and Ranger are recommended here.
  • The Electroshocker can be useful against this, as it can damage multiple Crying Angels at the same time.
  • The Mercenary Base's Rifleman can be useful here, as it has flying detection.
