Crying Angel (Krampus Frosthold) has been removed from the game as of the 31st of January 2024 as it was part of the Krampus' Revenge Event.
This page has been preserved for historical purposes.
Description
The Crying Angel was an enemy that first appeared in the second phase of Krampus Frosthold as part of the Krampus' Revenge Event. For its debut, it had a medium amount of health and a below average speed. It was also a Flying enemy, meaning that you needed to use towers with flying detection to kill it. It was immune to being frozen and slowed down by freezing towers.
It could be spawned by the Krampus from its Secret Santa ability.
Appearance
The Crying Angel was entirely made out of translucent blue ice. Its torso and legs were darker than its head and arms. It had two light blue wings connected to its torso with blue chains, which were wrapped around its torso. It also had a light blue spiked halo floating above its head.
Strategy
- The Ace Pilot and Pursuit can deal great amounts of damage to this enemy.
- Keep in mind that due to the speed of Crying Angels, they can escape the range of these two towers.
- The Mortar can clear out hordes of Crying Angels quickly, while also dealing a lot of damage to other enemies that appear.
- Multiple Golden Soldiers can be very effective against this.
- A couple Level 0 Rangers can kill the Crying Angel pretty easily, due to their high range and damage.
- A couple of Electroshockers can clear out hordes of Crying Angels due to their chaining, although keep in mind their low firerate, low range and the speed of the Crying Angels.
- While towers with flying detection are the only consistent way to kill Crying Angels, other towers can damage them indirectly.
- With the exception of the Mortar, Ace Pilot and Pursuit, explosive towers cannot detect the Crying Angel. If another enemy that can be detected by such a tower is present, then the Crying Angel can be damaged, so long it is within the explosion radius.
- The Crying Angel can get hit if it is in chain reaction with the Electroshocker even before it is at Level 2.
- The Sledger and Gladiator will be able to hit the Crying Angel if another detectable enemy is nearby as their hitboxes can hit the Crying Angel.
