Description
Crossroads is a map where the path intersects itself near the middle of the map. It has been remade twice since its addition to the game.
This map is included in the map rotation for Hardcore mode, as well as the regular map rotation for normal gameplay.
Crossroads has the Enemies Beta modifier, which changes the appearance of some enemies, replaces some enemies with other enemies and changes the stats of some enemies.
Design & Path
The current version of Crossroads is a four quadrant map, with each quadrant being unique. The quadrant boundaries are path. Multiple sections of the path are blocked by brick walls. One quadrant consists of a plains. It has a few trees, bushes and rocks. A blue tower with yellow fences and stairs, and black columns can be seen. There is also a metal statue with a humanoid, which is simply standing and three grey spawn points.
The second quadrant is rocky, with yellow and brown hills. Multiple wooden crates and brick walls can be seen. There are also two grey spawn points, a grey sign and a metal statue with a humanoid, which holds a ball. There is a small hole caused by an explosion between the first and second quadrant, which has a bridge built above it.
The third quadrant is a barren wasteland, with brown rocks and multiple large towers, which appear to be candles. Multiple wooden crates, brick walls and three grey spawn points can also be seen. There is a metal statue with a humanoid there, which is dabbing.
The fourth and last quadrant is a black stone castle placed on dark brown mountains. Multiple large bones can be seen sticking out of the ground there. Two grey spawn points and a metal statue with a humanoid, which is wielding shurikens, can also be seen.
The path starts at a cave and ends at another cave. The enemies will first go straight and then take two left turns, a right turn and two left turns. After this, they will go straight to the exit.
The second version of Crossroads is a four quadrant island map, with each quadrant being unique. The quadrant boundaries are normally the path and the ocean which surrounds the map. One quadrant contains grassy hills, while another is rocky with a stone bridge circling the perimeter, with a radio tower in the middle of the rotating path. Another quadrant is a barren wasteland, with brown rocks and a crumbling tower, while the last quadrant is a black stone castle.
The path begins at a cave with the spawn symbol and head straight to the intersection where they go straight ahead. This path is initially bricked. They will then turn left onto a grass path. This rotates around a radio tower before intersecting with another bricked path. The path reaches the intersection again, and goes straight ahead, towards another cave with a spawn symbol.
The first version of Crossroads was originally an imitation of the classic Roblox game Crossroads, but much smaller. It had a classic battle arena feel to it, with a blocky design and blocky buildings.
The white path began on a grey spawn and headed straight to the intersection where it turned left. The path then turned right onto a grass path. The path rotated around a tower before intersecting with the white path. Upon the intersection again, the path headed left towards the portal, where it ended.

Strategy
- Since the path crosses twice in the middle of the map, it is suggested to place ground towers near it.
- Melee towers and towers with short range, like the Gladiator or Warden excel at this spot
- Towers that deals damage overtime such as the Pyromancer can be placed here as well, enabling them to deal the damage twice.
- Additionally, the Pyromancer can utilize its pierce to hit more enemies.
- The path where the enemies spawn is long and narrow, making it a great spot for Archers and Shotgunners as they are able to hit more enemies with their piercing.
- This map has a lot of cliff spots, making cliff towers very useful here.
- Do note that some cliff spots may be far away from the path. You can use DJ Booth to increase the range of your towers.
- Since the map goes around a loop, the Ace Pilot is able to cover most of the path when placed inside the loop.

Trivia
- This map was originally based on the original Crossroads game by Roblox.
- The trampoline that appeared in the first version of this map would launch players up into the air at high speeds when stepped on, in a similar fashion to the trampoline in the original Crossroads.
- This is the second map to have the path intersect without being a two-pathed map, with the other one being Rocket Arena.
- In the original map, when enemies stepped off the spawn, they briefly went downhill.
- Prior to the Overhaul Update, this, Village of Despair, Graveyard and Rocket Arena were the only maps in which enemies went at an incline. However, Village of Despair was the only one with a major incline.
- Unlike many other maps that existed prior to the MEGA Update, this map was not remade or removed.
- However, this map was remade in the Overhaul Update.
- In the second version excalibur sword could be seen in one of the corners of the map.
- An image of YandereDev could have been seen in the cave on the side of the island in the second version. This was likely related to one of the creators of the map, DrinkTheMilkChalice, as their Roblox username was a phrase commonly associated with YandereDev.
- Prior to the Solar Eclipse Update, on Hardcore elevators, the map creators were listed as "?" as if they were unknown. However, in regular elevators, the creators’ names were still credited.
- Before the Violent Night Update, Crossroads had an Easy difficulty rating in regular elevators and a Normal difficulty rating in Hardcore elevators, making it the only map in the game to have two difficulty ratings.
- The multiple brick walls that appear on this map are a reference to the Trowel, a weapon present in multiple BrickBattle games like Crossroads which built a brick wall.
- One of the statues present on this map looks similar to the Baller class from Boss Fighting Stages Rebirth.
