Description

Corrupted Titus was the first boss to appear in Containment as part of the Hexscape Event. It was a corrupted version of Titus, making it stronger in most cases. It had high health and slightly slow speed. Additionally, it was a Boss enemy, granting it various immunities.

It had two abilities. The first was Corrupted Techno-Vampirism, which made it target a few towers near it, applying a 150% firerate debuff to them and regenerating 10 health for each tower attacked at a rapid speed. Its second ability was Cult Rejuvenating, which made it summon five Neuro Runners and five Bloated Brain Bounds, all with a 0.2 second delay between each spawn. It would also temporarily gain Aggro and Tank attribute, and a permanent 5% defense increase.

Appearance

Corrupted Titus had grey skin, with a part of its face being purple with neon purple veins. Its right arm was replaced with a mechanical arm, which had three claws and a laser blaster in it. It had grey hair. It wore a grey shirt and blue pants, alongside brown shoes. On its left arm, it had a metal shoulder-pad, multiple brown bandages, brown glove and black brass knuckles with spikes. It also wore a grey bandanna. On its torso, it had a large brown belt connected to a brown armor piece, which protected part of its mechanical arm that was connected to the torso. It had a brown belt with pouches and a grey plate with "CRR6PT" written on it. It also had grey knee-pads.

Strategy

  • High DPS towers like the Ranger, Engineer or Accelerator are recommended against this.
    • Support towers like the Commander or DJ Booth can be used to boost their statistics. The Commander can also be used to partially mitigate its firerate debuff.
  • While defense dropping towers, like the Pyromancer or DJ Booth, can be used to drop its defense, this is not necessary as it is not that high, resulting in a minimal DPS increase.
  • As it is a Boss enemy, it is significantly harder to slow down as multiple of its immunities either reduce effectiveness of the slowdown or prevent it entirely.
