Conjurer (Hexscape) has been removed from the game as of the 20th of November 2024 as it was part of the Hexscape Event.

Description
The Conjurer was the second boss to appear in The Nightmare Realm and Containment as part of the Hexscape Event. It had a high health and walked at a below average speed. It has Freeze Immunity and Stun Immunity, while also being a Boss enemy when it first spawned in The Nightmare Realm, granting it additional immunities for its first appearance. On some waves, it also appeared with Bloated and Nimble attributes.
The Conjurer had two abilities. The first ability was Dark Slam, which caused it to slam its staff, summoning five Forsaken Skulls. Its second ability, Cloak, only happened when it lost half of its health. This turned it into a Hidden enemy, making it untargetable by towers without hidden detection.
Appearance
The Conjurer had light maroon skin. It wore a brown shirt and pants, as well as a light brown scarf, bandages and dark brown gloves. On its head, it wore a grey and light red metal helmet with horns, which resembled a skull. It wore grey and red shoes and padding around its waist. It walked with a staff.
Strategy
- High DPS towers with hidden detection like the Ace Pilot, Gatling Gun, Engineer and Minigunner are strongly recommended to kill the Conjurer
- The Conjurer has quite high defense. Because of this, defense dropping towers like the Pyromancer or DJ Booth can be useful against it.
- As it has the Freeze Immunity, freeze defense dropping towers cannot drop its defense.
- Because of its immunities, it cannot be knocked back, frozen or chilled, and it is only slowed down instead of being stunned by stunning towers.
- Additionally, when it first spawns it is a Boss enemy, making it immune to even more forms of stalling. The only towers capable of slowing it down as a Boss are stunning towers like the Electroshocker or Trapper.
Trivia
- The Conjurer used the same animations as the Fallen Summoner, and shared the basis of its ability functionality with it.
