Description[]

The Conjurer is an enemy that appears in Badlands II. It has high health and walks at a slow speed.

The Conjurer has two abilities. The first ability is Dark Slam, which causes it to slam its staff, summoning six random enemies with a 0.5 delay between each spawn. These enemies can be the Giant Skeleton (60% chance) and the Necromancer (40% chance). Its second ability, Cloak, only happens when it loses half of its health. This turns it into a Hidden enemy, making it untargetable by towers without hidden detection.

Appearance[]

The Conjurer has light maroon skin. It wears a brown shirt and pants, as well as a light brown scarf, bandages and dark brown gloves. On its head, it wears a grey and light red metal helmet with horns, which resembled a skull. It wears grey and red shoes and padding around its waist. It walks with a staff.

Strategy[]

  • High DPS towers, like the the Turret, Pursuit, Minigunner or Accelerator can be useful here.
    • High DPS towers with crowd control capabilities can be especially useful, as they can hit both the Conjurer and the enemies it summons. Such towers include the Ranger, Pursuit and Engineer.
    • At half health, the Conjurer will become Hidden, so make sure you have sufficient hidden detection source.
  • Crowd control towers like the Mortar, Rocketeer or Electroshocker can be useful at dealing with the enemies spawned by the Conjurer.
  • No cash can be generated from summoned enemies. This includes the Cowboy's cash generation.
    • However, this also means that the Cowboy will deal more DPS to the summons, as attacking summoned enemies does not make it spin its guns, making it attack for longer.
  • The Conjurer has multiple immunities, meaning it is far harder to slow down.
    • As it has the Freeze Immunity, it cannot be frozen or chilled by freezing towers. This also means it cannot have its defense dropped through freeze.
    • Its Stun Immunity prevents it from being knocked back by towers. It also makes it only get slowed down by stuns instead of fully stunned.
