"Hey that doesn't look right...
What are those things?"

Commander dialogue on Wave 26 (Formerly, Nuclear)

Description

The Circuit, internally referred to as Circuit2, is an enemy that appears in Polluted Wasteland II. It has a somewhat high amount of health and a slightly fast speed. The Circuit has one ability, where on death, it speeds up nearby enemies by 25% with no limit.

The Circuit could be spawned by the Nuclear Monster. This means it could also appear in Oops! All slimes!, if spawned by the Nuclear Monster. It also could be spawned by the Mystery, Wave 27 onwards.

Appearance

The Circuit has glowing bright blue skin and a dark blue torso and legs. It has an energy pack on its back with an antenna that emits yellow sparks and six large batteries connected to it. It has a glowing desaturated yellow lightning bolt on its chest and desaturated yellow veins can be seen on its body. It also emits blue pulses and yellow particles from its torso and its head twitches whenever it runs.

It plays a thunder strike sound on death.

Strategy

  • High DPS towers, such as the Ranger, Golden Minigunner, Accelerator or Engineer are recommended to take down the Circuit.
    • The Commander and DJ Booth should be used to boost the firerate and range of these towers.
  • Slowing towers, such as the Electroshocker, DJ Booth and Warden, may be useful against the Circuit and enemies that were sped up by it.
    • As the Circuit has the Stun Immunity, the Electroshocker and Warden will only slow it down instead of stopping it completely while knockback towers like the Brawler will not knock it back.
    • As it has Freeze Immunity, freezing towers cannot be used on it, though they can still be used on enemies boosted by it, as long as they are not Freeze Immune themselves.
    • Be aware that if an enemy gets boosted by other Circuits, the freeze will be negated. This also applies to other enemies being boosted by the Circuit.
