This article is about Bug. You may be looking for Glitch or Error.

Description

The Bug was an enemy that could only be found in the legacy Hidden Wave, which meant it could only be found in Fallen mode.

The Bug was extremely fast and had a very high amount of health. This enemy was extremely difficult to defeat without correct precautions and it could have easily made you lose the Hidden Wave without the right towers.

Appearance

The Bug had a very similar appearance to the Error and Glitch, though more glitch particles were emitted from the Bug and it had an emblem of a bug on the front torso. While it was alive, the color of the Bug changed every second. It was also faceless. When it ran, a colorful glitch trail was left behind.

Strategy

  • Do not underestimate the Bug as if it was a Glitch or an Error due to its high amount of health.
  • Every tower must be maxed out and prepared for enemies like this in the Hidden Wave, so it is recommended to bring certain towers in order to beat the wave.
    • DJ Booths and Commanders are needed for range and firerate buffs respectively.
    • Level 5 Rangers are also highly recommended to defeat this, though their firerates must be boosted due to the incredibly high speeds attained by the Bug.
  • The Electroshocker is quite useful against the Bug as it can slow hordes of them down for a long period of time.
    • The Frost Blaster and Freezer can also be used, though they can only freeze Bugs one at a time.
    • The Sledger can be used to freeze hordes of Bugs due to its piercing, though due to its slow swingrate, some Bugs may not be frozen at all.
    • The Toxic Gunner can also be helpful, as it slows the Bug by up to 50%, though it may take a while to slow down a horde of Bugs.
    • If you are using the Accelerator, use the Freezer or Electroshocker to give time for the Accelerator to charge up.
