Description

The Breaker is an enemy that appears in the Easy, Casual, Intermediate, Molten, Fallen, Pizza Party, Badlands II and PVP Test modes, as well as on any map with the Enemies Beta modifier active. It does not appear naturally in most cases, and is instead spawned by the Breaker2. The only exception to this is Badlands II, where it does spawn naturally on one wave. It has the lowest amount of health out of all the Breaker enemies, usually having half the amount of the Breaker2, but is also the fastest of them all. Unlike its parent enemies, it does not spawn anything upon death. When first spawned by the Breaker2 it is temporarily invincible to all forms of damage.

The Breaker also appeared as part of the The Classic Event and Tower Defense Simulator x PLS DONATE Event.

The Breaker was replaced by the Png Bot in Headache Headquarters.

Appearance

The Breaker is a humanoid with a cyan torso and legs that have a triangle pattern design of varying sizes with the colors being light blue and dark blue, depending on which side the triangle is on. Its arms and head are made out of blue construction paper, with the front and back faces of each part being separate halves held together by small strips of tape.

If spawned from the Breaker2, the Breaker jumps up with its left arm pointed upwards before falling to the ground. It plays a squeaking sound and emits blue confetti particles on death.

The Breaker has a baby blue skin color. It has a cyan torso and legs with a plaid stitch mark pattern on them.

Trivia

  • The Breaker's animation when spawning from a Breaker2 is a reference to Mario from the Super Mario Bros franchise.
  • The Breaker has the most gamemode appearances, appearing in nine gamemodes total, alongside the Breaker2, Breaker3, Breaker4 and Necromancer.
  • The functionality of this enemy is very similar to the Solar Shard, Lunar Shard and Dust from the Solar Eclipse Event.
  • The appearance of this enemy is similar to the Super Mystery.
  • Unlike the other Breaker enemies, this enemy has a sprinting animation as opposed to a standard walking one.
  • There was a bug where units would instantly be destroyed upon collision with a freshly spawned Breaker, regardless of the unit's or the enemy's health.
    • This was due to an oversight where the Breaker, when spawned from the Breaker2, gained a fraction of a second of invulnerability upon being spawned, instantly killing the unit without taking any damage itself.
    • Since v1.17.0, units no longer take damage from invulnerable enemies.
