Description

The Boomer 1 was an enemy that exploded upon its death, stunning nearby towers in its radius. It was a fairly strong enemy with an average speed.

The Boomer 1 appeared in The Heights during the SFOTH Event.

The Boomer 1 no longer spawns and has since been replaced by the Boomer.

Appearance

The Boomer 1 was a bloated enemy, but similar in size to the Normal. The head and arms were light aqua green, while its torso and legs were slightly dark aqua green. It had a sad zombie drooling face.

Strategy

• Rapid-firing towers, such as the Minigunner or Sentry, can kill the Boomer 1 before it reaches your towers.
  • The Commander can also assist in killing this enemy quicker by boosting the firerate of your towers.
• The Demoman and Rocketer can kill hordes of these through splash damage, preventing them from getting anywhere near your towers.
  • Additionally, the Outlaw can also be used to kill the Boomer 1s from afar without the risk of being stunned.

Trivia

• The Boomer 1 was based on the Left 4 Dead zombie, the Boomer.
• The "Do you get the pun?" and "Hahaha..." narration that appeared for this enemy were the only narrations to be played a significant amount of time after the enemies had come out before the MEGA Update.
  • The narration played when the game assumed the Boomer 1 had exploded, though it could be played before or after the Boomer 1 had exploded.
