Body Guards 2 may still exist in the game's code, though it is no longer officially used in-game. This page has been preserved for historical purposes.

Description

The Body Guards 2 was a unit spawned by the Crook Boss at Level 4. In the game, the Body Guards 2 was referred to as just Body Guards, though it has been referenced here as Body Guards 2 to differentiate itself from the Body Guards 1. As with other units, it started from the end of the map path and moved towards the entrance of the map.

Whenever there was an enemy in its range, the Body Guards 2 would stop moving to shoot at the enemies. It would continue walking when there were no enemies left in its range. The Body Guards 2 had a spawnrate of 40 seconds.

There was a limit of three units per Crook Boss at Level 4, limiting the amount of Body Guards 2s it can spawn.

Appearance

The body guard to the left of the direction of movement had pale skin. It had grey legs, a buttoned tuxedo with short sleeves that had dark grey outlines and black shoes. It also wore a red necktie, black shades and black cotton gloves. It was faceless. The body guard wielded an M1A1 Thompson.

It also wore a blue necktie, black shades, black cotton gloves and a grey fedora with a black band. It was faceless. The body guard wielded an M1A1 Thompson.

Strategy

  • You should not rely too much on the Body Guards 2 because of its slow spawnrate.
  • The Body Guards 2 can deal full collision damage to enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss.
    • However, the Body Guard's ranged damage is lowered by enemies with defense.
  • The Body Guards 2 cannot detect hidden and Flying enemies, but they can still be damaged when the Body Guards 2 collides with them. However, this is likely unfavorable as the Body Guard's main source of damage is ranged.
    • The Ace Pilot cannot give the Body Guards 2 hidden detection.
    • The Body Guards 2 cannot collide with ghost enemies, like the Soul.
  • On maps with multiple paths, only one Body Guards 2 will spawn per Level 4 Crook Boss.
    • The Body Guards 2 will go down a random path.
  • The Body Guards 2 will struggle against fast enemies, like the Shock or Glitch, as they can run into Body Guards 2 without taking much damage.
  • The Body Guards 2 is not affected by any buff or debuff.
  • The Body Guards 2 will struggle against any enemy with abilities that damage units, because of its low health.
    • For example, if the Fallen King uses its Stomp attack, and a Body Guards 2 is caught in the attack, it is instantly killed.
  • Despite there being two humanoids, if over half health is dealt to the Body Guards 2, both humanoids will be kept alive.
    • Both the humanoids are essentially one unit, so treat them as such.

Trivia

  • In the Frost Invasion Update, the Body Guards 2 replaced the Mafia.
  • In a tweet revealing the Body Guards 2, the humanoids had faces. However, when they were added, they had no faces.
