Description

The Blight Walker was an enemy that appeared on The Nightmare Realm and Containment in the Hexscape Event. It had a high amount of health and quite fast speed. It also had the Freeze Immunity and Stun Immunity, making it harder to slow down. On some waves, it also could spawn with the Bloated and Nimble attributes.

It had two abilities. The first ability was Spit Burst, which made it fire out three purple spit balls at towers. These created an explosion which applied a 20% firerate debuff to towers, including non-humanoid towers, in a radius of 4. This debuff lasted 5 seconds. The second ability was Heal Trail, which left a trail that applied a regeneration buff to an enemy. This regeneration lasted 0.1 seconds and only healed 15 health of an enemy.

Appearance

The Blight Walker had maroon skin, with its appearance resembling that of an animal. It had four legs, large mouth and a tail. It wore a large skull with horns on its head, which had its jaw on its torso. It also had a few bones attached to its legs. It wore brown bandages around its legs. It wore grey shoulder-pads with spikes and a grey chestplate. It left a trail of purple goo as it walked.

Strategy

  • The Blight Walker is a fast enemy with high health, high range or fast firing towers like the Ranger, Gatling Gun and Mortar are best to kill it.
  • The Blight Walker leaves a healing trail as it walks, which heals enemies.
    • You can try to kill it quickly so that it can heal as little enemies as possible, however, its healing is not that significant
  • Placing cheap towers as bait can be useful to make the Blight Walker not target your better towers. Do note, however, that its ability creates an explosion. If other towers are near the distraction tower, they will still be affected.
    • The Commander can be used to partially mitigate its debuffs.
